SKILLS PEDAGOGY (STRATEGY/ACTIVITY)

Content Standard: Pre-lesson: Pupils are asked how to show respect to others in school
(teachers, friends, cleaning workers, guards, canteen workers,
Main: 2.2 Use appropriate communication strategies etc.).

Complementary: 4.2 Communicate basic information
intelligibly for a range of purposes in print and digital
media
Learning Standard:
Main: 2.2.1 Keep interaction going in short exchanges by
using suitable questions
Lesson delivery:
1. Teacher asks pupils to think and share the importance of the
school community via a graphic organizer by stating what they do
in school (Padlet can be used for virtual lessons.)
2. Pupils are asked to think about actions that are respectful and
disrespectful in school.
3. Pupils share their ideas orally or virtually.

4. Pupils are given some to think about their thoughts in the

beginning of the lesson on how to show respect to others.
Complementary: 4.2.2 Ask for, give and respond to
simple advice 5. Pupils complete the Respect Quadrant task sheet with ways to
show respect (Padlet can be used for virtual lessons.)

Post-lesson: Pupils read through ideas by their classmates.
