AN ORDINANCE TEMPORARILY CLOSING TO ALL
TYPES OF VEHICLE PORTION OF T. CALO ST., FROM
THE POINT BEFORE ITS INTERSECTION WITH
LANGIHAN ROAD IN THE WEST, TO ITS JUNCTION
WITH MONTILLA BOULEVARD IN THE EAST,
STARTING ON MAY 20, 2015 UNTIL THE COMPLETION
OF THE PROJECT, “UPGRADING OF T. CALO ST.
CORNER MONTILLA BLVD. - ROSALES ST., (LANGIHAN
ROAD),” AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
Be it ordained by the Honorable Sangguniang Panlungsod in session
assembled and by authority of the same that:Page two

SECTION 1. TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE. In connection with the
implementation of the road project, UPGRADING OF T. CALO ST. CORNER MONTILLA
BLVD. — ROSALES ST., (LANGIHAN ROAD), awarded by the City Government to
Reyrose Construction and Supply, Butuan City, the portion of T. Calo St., from the point
before its intersection with Langihan Road in the west, to its junction with Montilla
Boulevard in the east, is hereby temporarily closed to all types of vehicle beginning May 20,
2015 until completion of the aforesaid Project.
SECTION 2. TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT. The Office of the City Engineer in
coordination with the Land Transportation and Traffic Management Office (LTTMO), is
hereby directed to see to it that adequate signs are installed at the aforesaid areas during the
‘work on the said project for the convenience and safety of the public. It shall likewise see to
it that upon completion of the activity, the subject portion of the road shall be immediately
opened to the public.
Further, the aforementioned Offices are directed to facilitate the imposition of the
alternative routes of vehicular traffic flow for the convenience and safety of the public, and
see to it that at the end of the authorized road closure’s duration, the closed road portion shall
be immediately made open to the passage of vehicles.
SECTION 3. PENAL CLAUSE. Any vehicle driver who violates this Ordinance
shall be fined with One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP1,500.00), aside from
shouldering the cost of damages, if there are any, which the City may impose.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
