Description:
Now a days road accidents are one of the leading causes of death in the
world .About 1.2 million deaths and 50 million injuries per year was recorded
due to the road accidents ,this is the most frightening issue faced by the
government .Although there are many road safety measures which are in
implementation but still there are many accidents taking place .Though there are
many errors, drivers are considered as a primary cause of road accidents, while
external factors are also a reason for road accidents .The main objective of this
project is to design and implement the automatic road reflectors regarding the
accidents that takes place in local roads. During night times when two vehicles
approach each other in opposite direction they experience an excess light due to
which they are unable to see properly. Which is considered as the major reason
for the accidents during night time. Even in some places there is no availability
of light across the roads due to which accidents takes place .So this can be
overcome by the use of automatic road reflectors. With the implementation of
these automatic road reflectors we can reduce the accidents to some extent.
Hence by providing the necessary light the road accidents will reduce and
provide security for Road Users.
