TASK
Two friends Halim and Ina are antique money collectors. Solve the following problem based
on their antique collections.
Both Halim and Ina has the same number of antique RM notes. Halim had a number of RM5-
notes and 64 RM1-notes. These notes had a mass of 9.45 g. Ina had a number of RM5-notes
and 104 RM1-notes.
a) Who has more money in notes and by how much?
b) Given that each RM5-note is 0.024g more heavier than a RM1note, what is the mass of
Ina’s notes in g?

After solving the task, a verbal presentation of approximate 5 minutes is required in describing
the process and ideas used in solving the task.
This presentation should be in a video format. The assessment of this presentation will be based
on:
i. Mathematical content used in terms of knowledge articulation of problem,
correctness/appropriateness of solution and coverage of information (strategies used etc.).
ii. Presentation skills in terms of energy in presentation, pace of presentation, visual aids and
confidence in information rendered.
iii. Language in terms of speaking clearly, fluently and effectively in English language.
