SP ORDINANCE NO. 4559-2015 AN ORDINANCE TEMPORARILY CLOSING TO ALL TYPES OF VEHICLE JUNCTIONS OF THE SOUTH MONTILLA BOULEVARD WITH CERTAIN STREETS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT/REHABILITATION OF A SEWER CANAL FROM THIS DATE TO JUNE 12, 2015, AND PORTIONS OF THE SOUTH MONTILLA BOULEVARD FOR THE CONSTRUCTION/ REHABILITATION OF A DRAINAGE CANAL FROM FEBRUARY 18, 2015 UNTIL OCTOBER 8, 2015, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES Be it ordained by the Honorable Sangguniang Panlungsod of Butuan City in session assembled and by authority of the same that:SECTION 1. TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES. In connection to the road projects to be undertaken by the Department of Public Works and Highways — Butuan City District Engineering Office, the following portions of the South Montilla Boulevard are hereby temporarily closed: - From this date to June 12, 2015 — At the right side of the southbound lanes, the junctions with Pizarro Street, Aquarius Street, Libra Street, and 7" Street, for the installation of single barrel box culverts in connection to the Improvement/Rehabilitation of the Sewer Canal along the Butuan City - Malaybalay Road; and = From February 18 2015 until October 8, 2015 ~ At the northbound lanes, portions of the outer lane in front of MeDonald’s, Manuel J. Santos Hospital, and Prince Hotel and both lanes from in front of the Timber City Academy to the block’s end before O. Vargas Street, for the Construction/Rehabilitation of the Drainage along the Butuan City ~ Malaybalay Road. SECTION 2. TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT. ‘The Land Transportation and Traffie Management Office (LTTMO), in coordination with the Office of the City Engineer, is hereby directed to see to it that adequate signs are installed and traffic enforcers assigned at the abovementioned areas during the length of the temporary closures for the guidance of the public. Further, the LTTMO is directed to facilitate the imposition of the alternative routes of vehicular traffic flow for the convenience and safety of the public, and sec to it that at the end of the authorized road closures” duration, the closed road portions shall be immediately made open to the passage of vehicles. SECTION 3. PENAL CLAUSE. Any vehicle driver who violates this Ordinance shall be fined with One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP1,500.00), aside from shouldering the cost of damages, if there are any, which the City may impose.
