Proper handling of machines
The operator
• Wear protective clothing
• Follow safety tips

The machine
• Proper use of the machine
• Conduct regular check up – look for loose bolts and nuts,
disconnected parts, deformed parts, parts that need
lubrication, etc.
• Give time and attention to machines that need immediate
repair to avoid breakdown of parts and components
Troubleshooting hand tractors
Problem: Engine is not starting or
there is difficulty in starting it

Solutions: Check the following

 fuel tank/line
 fuel line of clog
 air cleaner
 accelerator
 oil level

• loose parts that need to be tighten
• bolts and nuts
Troubleshooting hand tractors
Problem: Power tiller difficult to stop when
running the trailer
Solutions: Check the following

is worn out
• rod connecting the brake pad to the
brake drum is disconnected
