A more complex way of looking at The Glorious Revolution is by comparing it to The American Revolution. The similarities are both involve
overthrowing a ruling power that is making changes the people don’t like. The differences are one is inviting a foreign power to lead them
while the other is trying to have power over themselves. This leads to the understanding that the English wanted to still be controlled by a
monarch just not the way they were while the colonies wanted to have control of themselves through a representative government.
