 There should be a single detailed report for all tasks.

highlighted with the clarity of writing and presentable formatting, which is also a
part of evaluation.
 Such reports will be given zero marks in which noticeable similarity is found in
any part.
 PWS (Power World Simulator) case file and pdf file should be submitted at LMS.

a. Use PWS to make a table for currents, voltages and impedances at all 5 buses, under
normal operation and in case of specified faults.
Fault locations: At the distances of X% of the line length from both line terminals and
middle of the line.
Fault impedances: 0Ω and 40Ω

X = Sum of last two digits of your Qalam ID number

b. Write all steps in completing PWS case file.

a. Give brief description about the importance and working of following softwares:

b. Describe the applicability of impedance protection and differential protection schemes

for transmission line from the data obtained in the previous steps.
