1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

A business Plan is a written document on how a company would manage their business
and their goals in business. Content that usually written in business plan is marketing plan,
administration plan, financial plan, and operational plan, Most of the business especially a start-
up business will create a business plan as it will help to ensure the company is running according
to plan and smoothly. It is an important document as it helps to attract investor to invest in our
company. Business plans also shows whether is well prepared, have objectives, target and more.

Burstyltics Clothing is a new local company that venturing into the fast-fashion clothing
industry. We aim to be able to compete with the top of the line local and international brands in
terms of quality and pricing of our products. As a company, we target to lead the change in the
industry by implementing circular and renewable fashion which has been a massive problem in
the fast-fashion industry.

Our product is an invention of two fabric which is denim and microfibre, it is called as
Denimfiber Jacket. Denim jacket is a quite familiar to us especially in fashion industry. A lot of
people love to wear denim as its beautiful and aesthetic design however, it is quite vexatious since
the fabric is heavy and hot because of the thickness. Our company decide to innovate that product
and use a combination fabric so it will become lighter and more comfortable to wear.

As a bonus, our product came with one unique feature which is our Denimfiber Jacket can
be turned into a backpack. The main reason why we design our Denimfiber Jacket can turned into
a backpack is to provide our customers with a useful feature based on people daily basics without
additional charges or costs. Out product quality is equivalent with famous designer denim such as
Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy, and Celine. Furthermore, our product price is cheaper compared to
the original Denim jacket that can reach up to thousands of Ringgit Malaysia

Based on the objective above, we are venturing into the world of fast-fashion industry and
Denimfiber Jacket has the potential of being a profitable business. We will expect that our business
will become more developed soon because with the innovation in our Denimfiber the demand will
increase not only during certain time, but it might be a new daily fashion. Producing this new
product is a challenge but we believe that this product will be love by many people all around the
globe.

4.0 MARKETING PLAN

4.1 INTRODUCTION

Marketing is the managerial activity of identifying and responding to customer wants. Our
marketing strategy is focused on increasing sales and services that are relevant to our customers'
requirements and wants to maximise profit from our target market.

To set Burstlytics Apparel apart from other clothing stores, we've created a new marketing
approach. In exchange for our services, we will give outstanding service to our customers.
Burstlytics Clothing is a new business in a crowded market. We provide personalised services to
our consumers for them to have delightful clothing and be happy with our work. Consequently,
they will buy more items since the clothing are better than those of the competition.

The objective of our marketing strategy is to ensure that people all over the world are aware
of our services, and in order to do so, we'll need to perform some competitive research. We'd take
advantage of their faults to bring attention to our products.

Marketing Objectives:

1. To use the most innovative marketing techniques to get more people to enjoy shopping.
2. Make sure that all employees are trained to ensure that all services provided to clients are
memorable and that they will return.
3. As our initial marketing goal, we want to create the most welcoming boutique for all
clients.
4. Use proper ethics when conducting a marketing campaign.

4.2 PROFILE OF THE PRODUCT

The Denimfiber jacket is the newest addition to our apparel line. This jacket is the result
of a denim lover's complaint about having a lot of problems with old denim fabric. We all know
that denim was initially designed for miners, but in the twenty-first century, most people use denim
on a regular basis. Denim has been ingrained in our culture, and individuals want comfortable
apparel that they can wear all day. This prompted us to introduce the world to a new form of denim.

The fabric used in the product is a mix of denim and microfiber. As we all know, denim is
a tough, long-lasting, and hefty fabric, whereas microfiber is one of the most pleasant, soft, and
breathable fabrics to wear in our everyday lives.

Plus, our product has one last feature that distinguishes it from the competition: we worked
hard to build a hybrid product that combines the features of a bag and a jacket. Denimfiber jacket
is a unique design that can be transformed into both a jacket and a bag to carry a little amount of
weight.

Denimfiber jackets are distinct from other types of jackets available. We came up with the
brilliant concept of creating a brand-new jacket design. Our company has developed a novel jacket
design that combines a regular jacket with a bag.

This multi-function design was devised to make it easier for jacket wearers who find it
difficult to wear both a jacket and a bag at the same time. When someone goes out to a new place,
they may choose to utilise a bag in some situations, such as after purchasing something and not
wanting to carry it in their hands. As a result, the presence of a bag is critical at that moment.

The bag will be quite beneficial in assisting one individual who has difficulty bringing
something with them. The bag may be kept and released at any moment thanks to this invention.
With the goal of making a jacket user's life easier, this facility was created to introduce new jacket
concepts. The bags were tucked beneath the jacket and were not visible.

4.4 MARKET SEGMENTATION

Market segmentation is the study of how your company splits its customers or cohort into
smaller groups based on factors such as age, income, personality qualities, or behaviour. These
divisions can then be used to tailor products and advertisements to specific customers.

Market segmentation is the process of separating your target market into segments that may
be approached. Market segmentation divides a market into subgroups based on demographics,
requirements, priorities, shared interests, and other psychographic or behavioural characteristics
that help to better understand the target customers.

• Geography

Geographic segmentation divides customers into distinct categories depending on their

location. Understanding the climates and geographic locations of client groups may assist choose
where to sell and promote, as well as where to develop your business, because potential customers'
requirements, preferences, and interests change depending on where they live.

Kuala Lumpur is where we want to launch our company. We chose Kuala Lumpur because
it offers a wide range of services, including lodging, transportation, and more. Furthermore, Kuala
Lumpur is easily accessible by public transportation, such as the LRT. As a result, customers may
easily visit our company. It’s also at the main town of Kuala Lumpur. So, the community can go
and buy our products.

• Psychographic

Psychographic segmentation divides markets based on consumer lifestyles, personality

traits, beliefs, views, and interests, taking into consideration the psychological elements of
consumer behaviour. When large markets, such as the fitness industry, classify its clients into
categories of people who care about healthy living and exercise, they employ psychographic
segmentation.

Our business is close to the house. It is a location where the residents' lifestyle is busy and
stressful. A hectic lifestyle will necessitate some time to rest and unwind. They require a change
of scenery to relieve their tension. As a result, our boutique may help residents relieve tension by
allowing them to purchase at our store for a better day. Furthermore, the location has residents that
enjoy shopping and may provide them with opportunity to do so during their free time.

• Demographic

Age, education, income, family size, race, gender, occupation, nationality, and other
demographic factors are used to segment a market. Because the products and services we buy, how
we use them, and how much we are prepared to spend on them are largely based on demographic
variables, demographic segmentation is the most often utilised kind of segmentation.

The target market is composed of men and women, 18-40 years of age, with mid-range

4.6 SALES STRATEGY

A marketing strategy is a written plan that includes product development, promotion,

distribution, and price strategies. It outlines the company's marketing objectives and describes how
they will be met within a set time frame. It is one of the most important aspects of market
organisation.

Marketing strategy is a way of concentrating an organization's efforts and resources on a

course of action that can result in greater sales and market domination at a specific price. We
established adequate marketing tactics to generate sales from the target market in order to reach
our target market.

There are four methods of marketing strategies that we used to market our products which are:

- Product
- Price
- Place
- Promotion

• PRODUCT

Essentially, our company just makes one sort of clothes. Our items are unique in that they
come with our own design. We add added features to the jacket that set it apart from competitors
to get more people to buy our unique and inventive jacket. We also produce the jacket in a variety
of colours to make it more appealing and to make it the most popular jacket among Malaysians.

_____________________________________________________________________________________

• PRICE

All groups of people can regard our jacket costs to be acceptable and inexpensive. We use
the cost-based pricing methodology to determine the price of our knitwear. The cost-based
pricing notion is the most basic and often utilised pricing method.

We utilise competitor-based pricing for our pricing strategy, which means we compare our
prices to those of other businesses in our industry. This is because we want our price to be
comparable to that of the market.

• PLACE

In marketing tactics, one of the corporate strengths is place. This refers to how customers
may acquire products or services, as well as the business's decision on where to locate.

To put it another way, location may be described in terms of how the context in which the
service is used affects sales. To fulfil the company, aim, the location must be carefully chosen.
We have opted to operate our firm in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, after conducting research.
Our store is located at 168 Bukit Bintang St, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory
of Kuala Lumpur, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The reason we chose this site to start our company is because it is in A strategic location.
People travelling from Shah Alam to Kuala Lumpur will see our shop because it is close to the
main route. Because the distance is so close, people in Kuala Lumpur will have the opportunity
to visit our shop.

• PROMOTION

We have sales on significant occasions such as Independence Day, Christmas, and the
holiday season. A seasonal offer can help us increase sales by boosting consumer exposure.
Providing a promotion tied to the day or occasion, whether it's for Independence Day on
August 31st or the more well-known Chinese New Year, may offer us a revenue boost that
accounts for sales while also bringing in possible new consumers.

We create a business card that will be sent to our suppliers and clients. There is
comprehensive information about us on our website, making it simple for suppliers and

4.7 MARKETING BUDGET

• Budget advertisement

Our company created a marketing budget strategy. The most cost-effective and low-
budget method of selling our goods through social media advertisements. We may
use any social media site, such as YouTube, to post our marketing video for as low
as $10.

• Artist endorsement

Our company prefers to work with an artist on an endorsement contract. Because they
frequently wear a fashion style throughout the concert, our goal is a well-known
fashionista.

• Signboard advertisement

Building a large signboard variety to market our goods is a sensible approach to keep
costs down. Our firm prefers to construct the signboard in close proximity to our

Firstly, is design stage. Garment design is the process of developing clothing ideas and
then translating those ideas into the creation of clothing products. Secondly, is pattern making
stage. A pattern is the template from which the pieces of the garment are traced to the cloth before
being cut and assembled. Patterns are typically made of paper and are often made of tougher
materials, such as paperboard or cardboard, if they need to be more durable to withstand repeated
use. Thirdly, fit sample making stage. The Fit Sample, also known as the First Sample, Production
Sample or Design Sample, is created from a template used to create a toile. It's important that it's
made in your final fabric, otherwise it's going to be wrong to hang your clothes. It is typically
devoid of trimmings and is designed to test the designer's idea and to get the design, manufacturing
and fit right. Fourthly, production pattern making stage. Production pattern making is the first step
in the production of clothing. When creating the garment as per design, the prototypes are used to
draw the different sections of the garment of a similar style onto the fabric prior to cutting and
assembling. Fifthly, grading stage is the method of producing a variety of sizes for a particular
type of clothing. The aim of grading is to match a pattern to a range of sizes. Grading does not
build form; it rather increases or decreases the size of the original shape.

Then, marker making stage. Marker making is the method of deciding the most effective
arrangement of pattern parts for style, fabric, and size distribution. After that, fabric spreading
stage. Fabric spreading is a process in which piles of fabric are spread over a fixed length and
width according to the size of the clothing marker. Proper stretching of fabric in clothing can
influence the efficiency, quality and cost of production. Next, Fabric cutting stage. Fabric Cutting
is separating of the garment into its components and in a general form, it is the production process
of separating sectioning, curving, severing a spread into garment parts that are the precise size and
shape of the pattern pieces on a marker. Furthermore, sewing stage. Sewing is a craft of fastening
or attaching objects using needle and thread stitches. Sewing is one of the oldest textile arts in the
Palaeolithic era. Then, Garment ironing and finishing stage. Finishing refers to processes that turn
woven or knitted cloth into a usable material and, more precisely, to any process that is performed
after dyeing the yarn or fabric in order to enhance the appearance, efficiency or "hand" (feel) of
the textile or clothing finish. While ironing is the most important finishing process in the ready-
made clothing market, which is achieved by exposing a fabric to heat and pressure with or without

steam to remove unnecessary creases and to give the clothing a flat appearance. ironing is often
performed to produce creases in the fabric. 27

Next, final inspection stage. Mainly the complete inspection of the fabric is carried out
during the final inspection since there is no facility to carry out the total inspection before that.
This is the most critical point of view of the consumer. Mainly the size, fitting and other defects
of the garments shall be examined in the final inspection. Then, Garments packing stage.
Garment’s packaging is one of the most important issues for the export of our garment product,
where the packing list can represent different vital issues such as shipping, transport, foreign and
local purchaser, product pieces, size, etc. Garment packing process is part of the finishing section,
which is the last section of the garment manufacturing process. After that, cartooning stage. The
products are shipped to the customer in cartons. Garments in poly bags are kept in a carton as
advised by the purchaser. Loading cartons of clothing is called packing. Garments are loaded into
cartons in a specified proportion of size and colour. This proportion is known as the assortment. It
is very important to preserve the designated assortment. Finally, shipment. Shipping refers to the
method of transporting items. It can be rendered by road, sea, or air, as it represents a collection of
objects that will be transported from one location to another.

• Fixed
A fixed-term contract is a contract of employment whereby an employer employs an employee
for a limited period. The fixed-term contract must be in writing and can, in certain cases (for
example, in the case of a substitute for an employee’s sick leave or maternity leave), be ‘fixed-
term’ (the contract sets the end date and thus the period) or imprecise and may, in this case, allow
for a minimum duration.

• Full-time service

‘Full-time’ means an average of 30 working hours per week. On the other hand, full-time work
arrangements are stricter. Staff typically operate from 8AM until 5PM from Monday to Friday.
Anyway, a full-time work schedule allows staffs to be available all week.

• Shift

Shift work, as well as fixed or rotating schedules, may involve evening, night, and early

6.6 IS THE PROPOSED BUSINESS PROFITABLE

The suggested business is successful since it provides our organization with a large sum of
money and a balance that we may put aside for the following month and subsequent months. Our
financing was also a good fit for our business because the earnings we received is so evenly
distributed.

CUSTOMER SEGMENT
Our product is designed to make people feel comfortable while they wear it, we are
targeting people across the world, regardless of whether they are teenagers or adults. We want
them to believe that this is the best product we have ever produced. Instead of wearing it, they can
use it as a bag in which to store items that they will need to carry with them wherever they go.
Following that, we want people to see the product in the same way they see the pricey items: as
something they want to get right away. Aside from that, we want people to feel as like they are an
amazing person when they are wearing the merchandise. What are they going to do with the item?
Of course, they want to be able to utilize it in both directions. One is for wearing, while the other
is for carrying things about.

KEY RESOURCES

Key resources are strategic assets that you must have in place, and you must have them in
place to a greater or more targeted degree than your competitors. There are three basic sorts of
enterprises: product, scope, and infrastructure. There are a lot of Key Resources in common
between these two. To compete with others, our company must be active on social media by paying
influencer to be our brand ambassador and the benefit is our brand would be well known in fashion
industry.

COST STRUCTURE

All expenditures incurred to execute a business model are described in the Cost Structure.
The most significant costs spent while operating under a specific business strategy are described
in this building block. Costs are incurred in the creation and delivery of value, the maintenance of
Customer Relationships, and the generation of income. After determining Key Resources, Key
Activities, and Key Partnerships, such costs can be estimated readily. However, some company
strategies are more cost-focused than others.

VALUE PROPOSITION

- High-end product

The definition of high-end is something considered an expensive or

extreme quality item. It is intended for people who want very good quality products and
who do not mind how much they cost. Our product is a top-notch quality clothing which is
satisfying for our buyers. The point about luxury is that everyone shouldn't be able to afford
it, so many high-end brands ration their products and accessibility. Luxuries may be
services. It combines scarcity with a mass approach that drives desire but safeguards the
brand from overexposure and makes the product more valuable.

- Multipurpose

The product itself is a multipurpose jacket. Which makes it a functional yet

luxurious piece of clothing that can be used by customers. The unique nylon which has a
special fluorescence in it, makes the jacket glow in the dark and increase the security of
the wearer. Sweat absorber makes it dry easily because of the natural fibre model.
Because of the model, it makes the jacket anti odor and makes the customer feel
comfortable every time they wore it.

- Top notch quality

If you describe someone or something as top-notch, you mean that they are of a
very high standard or quality. Of course, our product will be in a top-notch quality, as it’s
a high-end product. We will never produce a low-quality product because it is not our
dictionary. Therefore, we refuse to create a low-quality product. Something top-notch is
excellent—it's the highest quality. If you're used to camping, it'll be luxurious to stay in a
top-notch hotel. When you're recommending a movie as one of the best you've seen this
year, you might describe it as top-notch.

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP

- 24 hours customer service

It is essential to give the customer any support that they need, thus we made a 24-
hour service which can benefits them and help to receive review for our products. In
commerce and industry, 24/7 or 24-7 service as it is usually pronounced "twenty-four
seven" is service that is available at any time and usually, every day. An alternate
orthography for the numerical part includes 24×7 usually pronounced "twenty-four by
seven". The numerals stand for "24 hours a day, 7 days a week". We are committed to make
our customers feel close to us at any time and if they have problems with our product, they
can contact us immediately at any time.

- Online platform social network

We use the online social platform to market our product. As we all know, social
platform is a main thing in this generation. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, you name it. Our
product will be advertised in the social platform. We will use all of our technology in order
to advertise our products. An online platform is defined as a digital service that facilitates
interactions between two or more distinct but interdependent sets of users (whether firms
or individuals) who interact through the service via the Internet. Social networking is the
use of Internet-based social media sites to stay connected with friends, family, colleagues,
customers, or clients. Social networking can have a social purpose, a business purpose, or
both, through sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.

KEY PARTNERS

Key partnerships describe the network of suppliers and partners that make the business
model work Companies forge partnerships for many reasons, and partnerships are becoming a
cornerstone of many business models. Companies create alliances to optimize their business
models, reduce risk, or acquire resources. In Burstlytics Clothing, our key partners are
distinguished into 3 categories which are artists endorsement, top designers and raw material
suppliers. Artist or celebrities are endorsing our products simply by wearing them as well as
posting on their social medias for the eyes of the crowds to see. The people in their circles will
look at them and eventually see our branded jackets wrapped on their bodies or even on their hands
working as a ‘bag’. Subsequently, designers are the people who can influences their viewers.
That’s why, we have one of the top local designers in alliances with our company. Not to mention,
our raw material suppliers are of big names companies. It is vital for us to continue our production
of garments as they are our main suppliers. Our suppliers only provide best quality materials from
denims, microfibers, and sewing threads.

KEY ACTIVITIES

These are the crucial things the business needs to do to deliver on its propositions and make
the rest of the business work. Our company heavily relies on development, design making and
marketing to do our business. In design making process, our activities are run mainly by the
designers which has been set assisted by few workers. They are the people who does all the
designing productions before we make those into our productions. Then, development is also our
key activities which works on administration sites. They will increase our efficiency on the
business. For example, these people work in customer services. Finally, marketing. Marketing is
the people who promotes our products on our official sites such as Facebook, Instagram, and our
own website.

CHANNELS

We use a variety of platforms and methods to inform customers about our company's
presence. We understand that word-of-mouth advertising will not propel our firm to greater
heights. By utilising social media, creative thoughts may be expressed. We used social media sites
like Facebook and Instagram to advertise our business and the items we offer. Our expectations
were not met by the response we obtained when testing these marketing techniques. Not only that,
but we're also expanding our business by opening new outlets in other states. Almost every year,
our company constructs new outlets. This is how our firm connects with and reaches out to its
various customer groups.

REVENUE STREAMS

A Revenue Stream is a component that shows how much money a company makes from
each customer segment. To make money, most businesses require at least one excellent income
source. Every purchase made by a consumer generates profit for our firm. Every money made by
a client to purchase items is theirs to do with as they want. Aside from that, there's the ad cash we
get from the advertising banners we display throughout the office and in other areas.
