QUESTION
Explain the effects of good deeds in a society in a comprehensive manner.
Good deeds:
In Islam, a Muslim should perform a good deeds and is very important
for the pleasure of Allah Almighty (SWT), without having any greedy wish in
response or reward in mind. It gives every person an inner calmness and
happiness as well which leads to mental fitness and divine uprising on the
other side. A good deed is an action that is familiarized as compulsory or
indorsed in religious mien. Being a Muslim it is our duty to act as a good
and well mannered person and spread happiness and goodness. A good
deeds help a person to become a respectable and a well standard in
his/her life. We can suppose ourselves in our daily routine that we get the
reaction of our actions directly and of course, being a Muslim we believe
that Allah Almighty will give the rewards of our bad and good deeds in the
day of judgment but we also face it in our lives as well. If we do good with
others through our life we will definitely succeed and achieve our goals
here as well and if we do bad with others we will definitely have to pay for it
in different ways like we can not be happy and we can not hope any good
rewards from Allah Almighty.
Allah (SWT) says in the Quran “Indeed, good deeds do away with
misdeeds” [surah hud, 11:114]
The prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said “The best of the deeds or deeds is
the (observance of) prayer and it`s proper time and kindness to the
parents” [Sahih Muslim]
Charity (Sadaqah):
Giving a wealth in charity has a positive effect in a society and it
becomes a medium to help the people living in poverty alliance. There are
different types of needy people in our society for whom charity is a blessing
and a way to survive. The person who gives in charity feels an inner and
unstoppable happiness. Charity is used to create equality in a society and
charity can be given in any forms a person can afford.
Allah (SWT) said in Quran:
“Believe in Allah and His apostle, and spend (in charity) out of the
(substance) whereof He has made you heirs. For, those of you who believe
and spend (in charity),- for them is a great Reward .” [Surah Al-Hadid, 57:7]
Forgiveness:
Allah (SWT) said in Quran: “And let them pardon and overlook. Would you
not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is forgiving and merciful.”
[surah An-Nur 24: ayah 22]
