Alhamdulillah, bersyukur ke hadrat Ilahi kerana dengan izinNya, kertas projek ini

ABSTRAK
ABSTRACT
Based on the literature reading found that the teacher’s teaching is more effective and
interactive if the mathematics PdPc implements STEM integration. Nevertheless,
studies related to the integration of STEM in mathematics subjects are still poorly
implemented compared to science subjects. This study was conducted to identify the
level of knowledge and motivation of the implementation of STEM integration in
mathematics PdPc. This survey study uses a quantitative method involving 120
teachers in secondary schools in the district of Papar, Sabah. In the pilot study using a
questionnaire instrument adapted from the PAMPDPSTEM questionnaire from the
study of Aminah (2020). This study uses a non-parametric analysis i.e., Mann-
Whitney U Test. The study also found that the level of knowledge and motivation
was moderate. The results of the inferential analysis showed that there was no
difference in the level of knowledge and motivation of mathematics teachers in
implementing STEM integration in PdPc according to the duration of teaching
experience. However, all levels of teachers need to prepare themselves in terms of
STEM education knowledge and skills from time to time. Furthermore, the
implications of the study on the implementation of PdPc STEM need to be
continuously improved by school administrators, JPN and KPM by planning and
holding more workshops and programs to improve the knowledge and skills of
teachers.
