0P0282AB – CONFORMAL COATING GUIDE/ REQUIREMENTS:

 PCBA area and components that are required to be coated shall follow the Schneider Electric Visual
Acceptability Criteria under FTF50081, except on coating coverage of components whereby All SMT & TH
parts MUST be 100% covered (Body & Terminals) with conformal coating.
 Refer to the below illustration for visual reference.

Section 1. TOP LAYER:

TOP LAYER COATING REQUIREMENT (USING UV LIGHT)
All electrolytic capacitors and transistors with heatsink MUST NOT be coated.
All connectors and terminals MUST NOT be coated. Outer surfaces of connector housings may get
coated to cover all the nearby components.
