December 2, 2020
We attended the Online Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme (CGSM)
Orientation. Together with my co-girl scout from different school and my Troop
Leader Ms. Rosemarie Balana. Due to the pandemic the council decided to
conduct the CGSM Orientation online to ensure the safety of each other. We’ve
talked about the things we need to know as an applicant. We discuss the
purpose of the CGSM project, guidelines, different kinds of projects, our
requirements, schedules and many more.

December 9.2020
Today, me and my Troop Leader discussed the plans and actions we
would take on the project I had chosen. My project is on Health “Help Children
Grow”. We also choose the Purok where we will do or held the chosen project.
And discuss the things we should do at the upcoming community project.

December 10,2020
My Troop Leader help me to do some of my paperwork like my
application form and community profile. She also helped me to do my
endorsement papers. We went to our Barangay Captain to ask permission for
my chosen project. And we also ask permission to the Purok President of Purok
Gumamela and to the residents.

December 11,2020
I sighed my application form, the community profile, and the
endorsement papers. In the afternoon we went to Purok Gumamela and talked to
Tito Piral, the Purok President. We made a schedule to elect the mother’s club
or officers for my upcoming project. I also meet some of the residents of the
community and talked about the upcoming project.

December 15,2020
Together with my troop leader we’ve conducted a meeting and election to
the residents of Purok Gumamela. We elected the officers that will help me in
my project “Help Children Grow”. We also talked about the plans and
schedules of my project. They are willing to help and cooperate. After the
election we take pictures for documentation.

January 22, 2021

Me and my troop leader attended the meeting of the Barangay Council.
We discuss the plans and actions of my Project. We are very thankful that they
are willing to help us. They gave us 1 sack of rice, Php 1,000 and I pack of
manna pack.
January 25,2021
I started to do my CGSM Form 2. My troop leader also helped me with it.
We discussed our action plan, the target budget, and a lot of things for my
project. I also had a quick visit at the site to meet some of the children. Their
very playful and kind.

February 15, 2021

Today I distributed some solicitation letters to my relatives. They asked
me about my project, what purok and project did I choose and some stuff
regarding my project. I was very thankful that their willing to help me with it.
They also suggested some additional stuff that can help me regarding my
project.

February 20, 2021

I distributed and followed up some of my solicitation paper. I also visited
my site for regular inspection and I found out that the chapel will be under
renovation. I ask Tito Piral about it, when would they start the renovation and
when would it end, he said they don’t know when would it be. So I told my
Troop Leader about it and she said we’ll come up a new idea about it.

February 25, 2021

I visited the site again to see the renovation of the chapel. The renovation
just started today. I talked to the Tito Piral to ask some information. He said it
would take months because of the lack of budget. So I told my Troop Leader
that we should come up with a new plan about it. She said that we should
conduct a meeting about it.

February 28, 2021

I conducted a meeting to the parents together with my troop leader. We
discussed where we should conduct the project because the chapel is under
renovation. Tito Piral suggested that we could conduct it to their place since
they have a large space that we can use. We agreed about it since it’s a good
idea. Our problem regarding the chapel was solved. I’m very thankful that the
people are very kind to me and very helpful.

March 1, 2021
I started to implement my feeding program. We conducted it to Tito
Piral’s place just like what we’ve agreed on. Together with the parents we cook
arozcaldo. I witness the happiness of the children when they’re eating. I enjoy
watching them eating what we serve to them. I also gave some clothes to them
and they’re really happy.
March 13, 2021
I visited my site to meet the parents of my beneficiaries and I asked them
to help me in cooking the menu for our next feeding Program. They promise
that they will help as long as they can. I’m very thankful that they can help me
with it. I also saw some of the children and played with them.

March 22,2021
I started to do my CGSM form 3 with the help of my troop leader. We
also discuss some things for my project. And she asked me some information
regarding my feeding program. Our day went well even though we’re tired and
exhausted.

March 30, 2021

We talked to the parents and Tito Piral. We told them that we will
conduct my project the next day. We discuss the menu for my feeding program.
And I also asked the help of the parents in cooking the menu. Its a good thing
that they will help me with it.

March 31,2021
I woke up early today so I could prepare for my feeding program. I went
to the site to bring the ingredients. At 8:30 am we started cooking and
preparing. At 11:30 am we served the food and called the children. Our menu is
rice and monggo. The children we’re very happy with it.

April 8, 2021
We conducted a meeting together with my work group. I asked their help
and support for my project and luckily they agreed. After our meeting we went
to the site to meet the children. We played and read stories for them. Its a tiring
day but its all worth it.

April 10, 2021

Today was scheduled for my Spiritual Readings. My Spiritual advisers
are Rev.Fr. Joseph Tubiera and Rodrigo Bautista Jr. Philippians 2:9 Do all
things without grumbling or questioning, that you may be blameless and
innocent, children of god without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted
generation, among whom you shine as light in the world., is one of the verses
that we’ve tackled. I learned to never question the things that happen even the
result is negative or positive. All things happen for a reason.
April 16, 2021
I distributed some solicitation letter to my teachers. And I’m very happy
that they will help me. They also suggested some activities we could do. They
reminded me to always follow the health protocols to avoid risk to the children.
I thank them for their advice and help.

April 17,2021
I was supposed to conduct a feeding program today. But due to the
typhoon I postponed it. I told my troop leader about it and she agreed. I also told
the parents about it. I got sad that I can’t conduct my feeding today because I
already told the children that we will meet-up that day, but I guess they would
understand about the situation.

April 24, 2021

The typhoon is gone and today we will conduct my feeding program. I
got a little excited about it. My co-Girl Scout and I serve lunch to my recipient.
We serve Dinulgog and rice today. Before we ate our lunch I read a story about
the three little piglets. The children were so very attentive to listen and they
were very happy. After that one of my co-girl scouts led the prayer and the
children start eating.

April 23, 2021

Today I conducted another feeding program. Before I serve the food I
read a story to them about Little Red Riding Hood. I serve Binignit to the
children. Paul-paul, one of the children led the prayer. And we had a great meal
after that.

April 27, 2021

Today I decided to gather all my recipient and read them a story about
Peter pan. Their very active and happy because they love Peter Pan. We played
some game but we assure the safety of each other. After that I give them there
snacks. And had a great day with them.

May 6, 2021
Today I discussed about proper hand washing. My beneficiaries were all
attentive to the topic. After teaching them the proper hand washing I measured
their weight and height. After that we played some game. I served chopsoey
and rice to them. We are very happy and enjoyed our day.

Sk Chairman Roed Bais visited me to personally gave there support for
my project. He asked me the progress of my project and the site. The
Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy Vito express there support by giving a cash
assistance for my feeding program. I thank him and his fellow Sk members for
there support and help.

May 10, 2021

My troop leader and I distribute my solicitation letters to some known
families in our community. I was very thankful that our prospect person did not
deny us and they are willing to help. They donated cash assistance and also
suggested some activities that can help me regarding my project.

May 17, 2021

My Assistant troop leader Maam Charene Jimenez discussed about proper
hand washing and I am the one who demo the said activity to the children. The
kids are very attentive to our topic. We also played some games and served
Macaroni soup and bread to them.

May 22, 2021

I gathered the children to tell them a story about “Peter pan”. After
reading them a story I asked them some question. Some are shy to talk to me
but I still manage to communicate with them. And I gave them their snacks after
talking to them.

May 30, 2021

Today I received a cash donation from my Tito. He also gave me some
advice regarding my project. He reminded me to always follow the safety health
protocols to assure the safety of each other. I thank him for the big help he gave
me. I’m very thankful to have a supportive family with me.

June 13, 2021

I serve snacks to my recipient with the help of my lola and sister. Before
we serve snacks we let the recipients to play and teach them how to wash their
hands. We serve Pancit and bread. The children are very happy and active
today.

June 22, 2021

My Troop Leader and I went to some of our donors to collect my
solicitation. They donated cash assistance. I thank them for their help and
support. We are so very happy because we enjoy walking and collecting some
of my solicitation.
June 30, 2021
I gather my recipient and get their height and weight. Some of my
recipient increases their weight and some remain as of last month. I enjoy
weighing them to know if there is an improvement. I also talked to some kids
and asked them how’s their day and a lot of things. We serve lunch and enjoy
our meal.

July 1, 2021
Our mayor declared that our city will be under General Community
Quarantine ( GCQ ). Mass gathering is not allowed. So I decided to distribute
the food to the children’s house with the help of Tito Piral and my Troop
Leader. We assured to follow the safety health protocols to assure the safety of
the children and all the people that are part of my project.

July 4, 2021
Today I planned to distribute the food packs to the children. I wore face
mask and face shield to assure my safety. Together with Tito Piral and Ma’am
Balana we distribute the food packs to the children. We followed the Health
protocols implemented by the government.

July 11, 2021

My troop leader and I went to to distribute solicitation letter. But due to
the GCQ we’re only allowed to solicit in our baranggay, we’re not allowed to
went to nearby baranggay to solicit some donations. But still we are so very
lucky that we have possible donors by next feeding. The donors donated cash
assistance for my project.

July 15, 2021

Today I decided to distribute the food packs to the children. Ma’am
Balana and Tita Tata helped me with the distribution. We wore our face masks
and and shields to assure our safety and to follow the protocols. I meet the kids
in their houses and measured their weight and height.

August 1, 2021
General Community Quarantine ( GCQ ) is over, mass gathering is
allowed and we could conduct my feeding program and meet the children again.
Today I asked the parents to help me in cooking our menu for tomorrow. They
gladly accept my offer and promised to help me. I also asked my work group to
help me.
August 2, 2021
Early in the morning I went to the site to clean- up with the help of my
co-girl scout. 9:30 am with the help of the parents we started cooking. Before I
serve lunch to my recipient we do some activity like dancing, singing and
playing with the help of my troop leader and co-Girl Scout. It’s fun being with
them again. I really enjoyed my day.

August 10, 2021

I gather all my recipients and I told them a story about ‘CINDERELLA’
some of them already know the story. We have a small discussion about the
story and I gave candies to those who answered correctly my questions. Their
very happy and very active to my story. They enjoyed it very much.

August 16, 2021

I had my feeding program today. I serve snacks today. Before the
feeding, I’ve reminded them about the proper hand washing. I also read them
some bible verses and stories from the bible. I told them the story about Daniel.

August 28, 2021

I gathered the kids and told them the story of pinocchio. Some already
read the story but still their very attentive in listening about it. After that I asked
them some question regarding the story, the kids answered my qiestions very
well.
September 6, 2021
I went to the site to talk to Tito Piral, I asked his help for my feeding
program for the next day. I also asked help to the parents to help me in cooking
the foods. It’s good to hear that their willing to help me with it. The kids greeted
“ hi ” to me when they saw me.

September 8, 2021
Early in the morning I went o Tito Pirals house to bring the ingredients
for the food we’re serving today. At exactly 10 o’clock we started cooking the
food. At 11:45 we finished cooking the food. We called the kids and serve them
the foods. Before eating Claire, one of the kids led the prayer for us and we had
great meal after that.

September 16, 2021

Today I conducted another feeding for the kids. But before we start me
and my co-girl scouts cleaned the feeding area. After having some clean-up I
teach the children how to read. The kids we’re very attentive and very active.
After teaching them how to read we ate our snacks together with my co-girl
scouts.
September 24,2021
Today I prepared some snacks for the children. My sister helped me in
cooking the bihon. She also help me in packing the foods for the children. My
lola also helped in distributing the foods to the kids and also Ma’am Balana.

September 30, 2021

Ma’am Balana sponsored some sopas for the kids today. Before
distributing the foods I read them a story about “Ang kabayong kahoy”. The
kids enjoyed the story because the story is not familiar to them. After reading
the story I asked them some question and they answered it correctly. We
enjoyed the meal that was serve and had a great time together.

October 1, 2021
Today is Friday, the Negros Occidental GSP Council came to evaluate
my project. I got a little bit pressured and nervous about it. I woke up early
today to clean my site with the help of my co-girl scout and Ma’am Balana. At
3 pm the council arrived and interviewed me about my project. I got pressured
when asked me some questions, its a good thing that I managed to answer them.
After that I thank my co-girl scout and my troop leader in supporting me during
my evaluation.

October 5, 2021
Early in the morning I went to my site to prepare everything for my turn-
over ceremony. My turn-over ceremony is today at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. .
Together with my co-girl scouts and Ma’am Balana we decorated the chapel for
this afternoon ceremony. I prepared some school supplies for the children and
also snacks for them. In behalf of our Brgy Captain Nemesio Briones, Hon.
Kagawad Donna Salili together with the Purok President Walter “Piral”
Buytrago was there to attend on my turn-over ceremony. It was a tiring day but
still worth-it, seeing the smiles of the children and the parents she help are one
of the best thing a girl could see
.
