Introduction
The global COVID-19 pandemic has had huge disruptive effects on normal life, difficult
as it already was in many countries. For schools, students and parents, the impact of closed
schools and children stuck at home with little to no access to learning, the effect has been
devastating. Experts estimate that a whole year of learning could be lost; meaning a whole
cohort of students could be permanently lagging behind in their learning. This research is about
the Effects of New Normal Education System to Students. This new way of learning brought by
the pandemic can be an additional challenge during this tough time. Students and teachers are
facing many difficulties when it comes to financial capacity, internet connection,
communication, and a chance to acquire the virus for the reason that we are exposed to other
people when claiming and passing our modules and exams. The solution lies in neither a top-
down approach from policymakers, reactive changes to teacher preparation and in-service
training, nor temporary makeshift arrangements by under-resourced principals and teachers.
All parties need to be involved in developing strategies that can be implemented in the near-
term as well as long-term. A dialogue across all levels of education is therefore critical in making
informed policy to prepare for the new normal in school education.
Many problems came across due to this pandemic as well as the economic failure, lack
in hospital facilities that is badly needed in this pandemic. As students, our major problem is
how we can cope up with this new educational system. In battling this disease, we should all
come together and consider all odds. Neither you nor anyone else never knew that a virus like
such could cause affliction in many people especially the youth. As casualties continue to
emerge, cooperation in all nations is essential. We are in a situation wherein everybody is
affected, whether rich or poor, whether young or old, whatever your religion is, you will most
likely to come upon this disease and latch onto it. As a compassionate human being, we must
encourage everybody to lend a helping hand and follow your local leaders and health protocols
to avoid spreading the virus. The people must be precautious, attentive, and responsible
enough to handle and face this pandemic together with courage.
Even though our foe is unseen, even though this pandemic had caused global cataclysm,
and even though this virus may seem distinct to us, we can always and have always been above
all sudden misfortune. As time goes, we will all heal and sooner or later, our normal lives will
return. We should always look forward to a better and brighter outcome to this pandemic. Let
us expect more sudden mishaps and crushing reverses in the future because who knows what
might come to us the next decades of our lives. This virus has caused a division and made a gap
in humanity. But as we can see, nations united to combat our unseen enemy. We hope that this
pandemic will end soon and may people find new opportunities to recover and start over with
their lives. We hope that this research may help not only ourselves, but especially the ones that
truly needs support and inspiration.
RESEARCH QUESTIONS
This study aims to determine the effects of new normal education system to
students.
More specifically, it seeks to find the answers to the following questions:
1. What is the impact of it to the mental health of students?
2. What is the impact of it to the physical health of students?
3. How does it affect the financial state of the students and their families?
4. How does it affect the social relationships of the students?
5. How does it affect the student’s way of communicating and interacting?
6. How does internet connection affect the student’s performance during online
classes?

SCOPE AND DELIMITATION

The main focus of this study is to identify the effects of new normal education
system to students of different schools. We aim to research and discover the
answers to our problem. We aim to conduct the study till the end month of April
and we also plan to fulfill the demands of the study. As the positive cases of the
virus continuously inflate, we shall conduct studies and surveys in our own home
to prevent the further spread of the COVID – 19 pandemics. The researchers will
no longer apprehend the accounting, government, programs, and political issues.
We will passionately unearth this study’s answers with perseverance and
truthfulness to the best of our knowledge.

DATA GATHERING PROCEDURE

Once we have decided what design our research is going to base on, it is
imperative that we continue following the systematic procedure and start
working data collection. We also have to decide how we are going to collect data,
after having decided what to collect. In addition, it is important to mention that
we are going to collect data according to how relevant it can be in the research as
well as its effectiveness. We have to be aware of all possible difficulties that there
may be throughout the data collection process. So, in order for us to collect data
successfully, we’ve got to make sure we already have clear criteria for selection.

CONCLUSION
Based on the findings, the following conclusions are drawn:
Difficulties that are encountered by students
The researchers found out that with the new normal education system, students
encounter difficulties such as slow internet connection, wherein the students
need to have a stable internet connection for them to participate properly in their
online classes. Having a peaceful working environment is a must have in order for
the students to concentrate in their studies. In our city wherein power
interruptions often occur, students struggle to find stable and reliable power
source especially in rural areas for the students not to be left behind with the
current topic or subject that the teachers discuss to them. We could all agree that
students are fond of their laziness when it hits them and are obligated to stay
inside their own homes and study while doing household chores at the same time
which makes it more difficult for them to focus on their studies. In Region V, we
are often hit by natural disasters and calamities which is also one of the main
reasons that hinder the students to anchor the most important thing in a person’s
future life; which is education.
