• Prior to lifting, crane to be setup properly and barricade lifting area with sign board to restrict the access.
• Lifting accessories and lifting gear shall be certified and visually inspected daily prior to any lifting activity.
• Lifting team shall be adequately briefed on seq of work, lift plan and its associated risk (competent and certified
crane operator ,rigger & supervisor)
• All lifting gears to be color coded with site requirement.
• Lifting plan developed by appointed person.
• Ensure proper communication to be enhanced between trailer operator and lifting supervisor while off loading
Over reaching of load of block from trailer.
• Flagman to control the movement of trailers and ensure they communicate with drivers once work is completed

Pinch points • All lifting gear to be thoroughly examined every 6 months
• All lifting gear to be inspected daily by a competent person.
• Exclude personnel from lifting zones
• Barricade the load swing area.
• All lifting gears should be inspected and should have valid third party test certificates.
• Ensure that the crane is operated by a competent and third party certified operator.
•No lifting activity to be performed in adverse weather condition(max wind speed 10.5 m/s)
•Do not cover the crane cabin with any cloths.
• The crane will be fit for its intended purpose and operated within the SWL limits without over-ridden.
