Owner of Studio 11 is Mr. Umashankar Birthare he started this business is about 5 years
before.

Studio 11 is a Beauty and Hair Salon in Choudharan Colony, Guna Offers you Best and
affordable Beauty Care, Hair Styling and Bridal Makeup, Skin Services in Guna.

We bring international salon and spa experience to your neighborhood. Our service list
ranges across hair and skincare, touching upon spa and bridal treatments to give you a holistic
approach to feeling good. Wellness wouldn’t mean much if you’re not treated well. In our
salon, you will receive the best in beauty and spa services administered with the greatest care.
And you’ll find that even our prices treat you well.

Customer itself come to saloon for Hair service, skin service, hands and feet, spa service,
Bridal service, Treatments so in this case our inputs are

7. Product (comb, scissor, gel, vex… etc.)

Transformation Process:

If customer wants haircut so the process are:

1. Hair wash
2. Hair dry
3. Hair cut
4. Hair set

So every different type of service they have offered have different transformation process.

Output:

2. Customer feedback

 Operations Strategy

For the Good output there certain operations performs like:

1. Menu – Studio 11 also give menu of their whole services and also mention prices as
well.
2. Staff members – 3 to 4 employees for haircut, 2 for beard, 1 for waxing and other
skin care, 1 is for reception, 1 manager for both men and women
3. Branches – In Guna itself there are two branches of studio 11 salon one in
Choudharan Colony Guna and other one is on AB road Guna
4. Rooms – 1 Gallery, There is divination between 1 full section for men and other is for
women. In both section there are 1 room for hair cut 1 is for hair wash 1 is for
manicure pedicure and 2 rooms for full body massage and 1 room for bride and
groom
5. Machines and equipment – Comb, Scissor, Mirror, Chairs (haircut, hair wash Etc.)
Trimmer, Hair Dryer, Hair Steamer, Foot Spa Machine, Hair Straightener Etc.
6. Pre booking facility – Studio 11 offer pre booking facility on online booking website
and also on phone call.
7. Payment method – They accept all type of payment like UPI, Credit card, Debit card
etc.

Customer enter in salon they talk to receptions then receptionists check there details and also
take their contact no. for entry in there system. Then receptionist asks what service they want
to avail then customer and mention their problem like are they want hair cut or waxing,
manicure pedicure, Men grooming, bridal look Etc. They talk to receptionists then
receptionists check the appointment and mention the time and ask them to wait in the waiting
room. There are different types of newspapers magazines, TV, also offer Wi-Fi facility for
their entertainment

After some time his tern will come and hair dresser came and he wash customers hair and
after wash he dry his hair the ask what type of cutting he/she want then hair dresser cut and
trim his/her hair and if he/she want anything the process will continue approximately 20
minutes for hair cut 15 minutes for beard 30 minutes for manicure pedicure, 30 minutes for
massage
 And on the last note they take valuable feedback from the customer about their services and
give service charges receipt

Studio 11 is on more focus on new design and development because in Guna there are few
unisex salons and Studio 11 is a market leader in that area because it is focusing to introduce
new trends new technique of services.

Studio 11 they introduce unisex salon in Guna, also they come with full body massage in
there salon so they are more in to design and development activity. They are also taking new
trends and new hair styles, colors, and new services in to the market.

They are also work on their feedback which customer given to them also they work to
improving it.

Studio 11 also more focus on hygiene so they use hand gloves and they also use use and
throw towel.

They hiring professional hair dresser, their employees fallow same design dress code.

Studio 11 also sales skin care product for their customer.

Service characteristics and service delivery process

Service Characteristics: Foremost and important factor is outcome of the customer weather if
the customer opt haircut service, full body massage, or any skin treatment all the services
have their own characteristics like in haircut there are different kinds of styles and the
finishing will be the quality of that service and if customer opt Body massage then what type
of oil do they use how much time dose they take for full massage or any other additional
services also add in it

o Tangible or intangible, some of the service are tangible and few are intangible like
body massage is intangible and haircut, waxing etc. are tangible
o Perishable service, yes all the service which is salon give is perishable it only sustain
minimum one month
o Variable service, it vary to customer to customer and style to style styles.

Service Delivery Process: The main role to satisfy the customers need and what they want
with their service so in that the main focus is how they delivered there services like in haircut
there is the systemic process like firstly they wash hair with shampoo and they wait to 10
minutes to dry the hair then they start trim the hair with trimmer and with different hair
cutting equipment at last they sat the hair and when customer satisfy with the hair style then
they move to beard and threading etc. so step by step process is more effective and how they
treat the customers is a service delivery process.

Demand Forecasting

In salon business we see a lot of fluctuation in the demand factors sometimes the demand is
high and sometimes demand is low.

Studio 11 consider some creative marketing to attract new customers, increase sales of its
services and also start with digital foundations creating an attractive looking searchable
website, creating and maintaining social media pages, and listing business social media.

Studio 11 is focusing the demand side of the customers so they sometimes give discounts
offers sometimes they connect with sponsorship with any event.

If the demand rise like in festival sessions, marriage session the demand get high and the
booking will be over full so they manage it also with their employees they have 12 to 15
employees for all the services.

Capacity Planning

Some of the salon have single room for all the activity but Studio 11 have different rooms for
different services like for haircutting they have 5 to 6 chairs in one room and one room
massage one room for hair wash one room for waiting one room for manicure and pedicure
service and one room or bridal room and there are all the rooms different for men and
women.

So, Studio 11 have two branches in Guna only and both have lots of room’s and in one time
they can handle maximum 20 customer in both the branches.
 Facility Location

Both the branches of studio 11 or in main market one branch is in Choudharan Colony, Guna

and other one is in AB road and these branches cover all the areas of customers in Guna and

in both the branches have their own parking facility so customers will not get any parking

related issue for both two wheeler and four wheeler.

Facility Layout

Facility layout is an arrangement of different aspects of services and equipment is in an

appropriate manner as when any equipment needed so that it could be get on time means all

the items are arrange on systematic orders. Facility layout considers available space so there

is lots of work space, safety of users and they also provide parking area in both the branches.

Inventory Management Practice

In salon business they use lots of skin care product like cream powder, makeup kit…etc. In
hair care products like gel, comb, scissor, shampoo, blade…etc. in body massage oil cream
and other products use

So, studio 11 purchase all the item in wholesale for 2 to 3 month, there are some items which
is run 3 to 4 months after this they need some maintenance.

All the product is managed in systematic order like there is a shelf in which they put all the
hair cut equipment, and the work never stop because of inventory management system.
 Quality Measurement & Management practices

As studio 11 always take feedback from their customers for the service and also about their
employees like are they polite, is there any time issue, any service which they dislike, any
suggestion which customer want to give.

So studio 11 make sure that the quality of the service is high and it can satisfy customer so
Quality measurement is they always check the work of their employees and if there any
compliant arise they strictly work up on it and resolve it ASAP.
