Final project (BQS 664) is an essential pre-


requisite for the award of an Honors degree.

their own chosen topic subject to approval
by the Centre.

Contents Of Topic Proposal

TITLE A clear and concise statement of what is being proposed

Provide a brief overview of the topic – i.e. a statement which says clearly what the

relates to the program.

PROBLEM STATEMENT Specify the problem or issues you wish to investigate

Specify what the student is aiming to analyse, evaluate and test in one sentence –
often in the form of what is to be investigates ( qualitative research ) or what impact

Between three and five single sentence objectives should be developed as specific

Procedure of Topic Proposal
The date of topic presentation is in WEEK 2/3 (subject to change by panel).

Student is required to propose 3 topic proposal and presented to a panel of lecturers for approval.
2 Topic approval is subject by panel.

2 lecturers in a panel. Please prepare 2 copies of topic proposal for each lecturers.

Topic proposal must follow the research area and must at least have a contact person for the
4 purpose of data collection.

Students is required to check with past semester topic to avoid lapping/duplicate of topic.

If student fail in the first round of presentation, student need to re-present the new 3 topic
6 proposal to the same panel until the topic approve by the panel.

After the topic had been approved by the panel, students need to fill in the Google Form that will
7 be distributed by the Coordinator.

ATTENTION!!

Students are not allowed to change the


panel.

If student can not attend the presentation, please


inform panel and set another date for
presentation.

Students are not allowed to carry any subject


during practical training.

Students are not to changes supervisor once


appointed.
