A : assalamualaikum wr wb, introduce myself, my name is khairul ayat as the first speaker,

good morning tegar please introduce yourself

B : thank you verse for the opening, ok introduce myself, my name is tegar arif pradana as
the second speaker

A : ok tegar, today we will discuss a very interesting topic for us to discuss, abaout the pro
and contra of the emergence of smart devices, artificial intelligence & machine learning, Big
Data, and the Internet of Things, showing the decline in the relevance of the curriculum and
the current learning process in mechanical engineering degree

B : I totally agree with you, this topic in the future will have a very positive impact on us and
our friends in mechanical engineering

A : OK, I'll start first with what I know about this topic, in this modern era, technological
developments can't be denied anymore, we are even required to adapt quickly, one example
in the field of student education like us, the internet is a means of easiest to access anything
we want to know, very efficient isn't it, we can even save time and effort, everything is
already there.

B : I understand, talking about the impact, with this convenience, try to see what is actually
happening in our environment, we and our friends really underestimate the knowledge given
by our lecturers, laziness is increasingly becoming a habit, which we used to rely on literacy,
now we are more relaxed and don't have a high sense of fighting to get knowledge

A : friends, laziness is a personal trait, don't generalize, it all depends on yourself, we can still
self-literate in the library but with the internet and devices that support us, it's very easy, isn't
it?

B : this is not as simple as you are talking about, this is also about habits, tomorrow when we
work directly in the real world we are faced with jobs that are directly as well, we will be
required to always try and work hard not instantaneously,

A : Now that the era is modern, the world of work will also follow its development, don't be
too rigid, with technological advances, isn't our work getting faster?

B : now we just look at the field, what have you got after the internet of things, everything
became easy, do you and we really understand the science, I'm sure we always depend on
the internet, become blind to the science

A : yes i admit our quality has decreased, but when we forget what we learned we can open
again and search again on the internet, it's that simple

B : but when we are in a critical situation what can we do? we don't always carry a device, we
are required to be independent.

A : well actually we have discussed all the advantages, disadvantages, threats and
opportunities of the existence of smart devices, artificial intelligence & machine learning, Big
Data, and the Internet of Things, showing the declining relevance of current curriculum and
learning processes in mechanical engineering undergraduate programs, now we only just
summarize the best solution.

B : it's true that we should provide solutions to the mechanical department for more
advanced and developed mechanical engineering

A : do you agree if independent literacy and internet use are combined? So duaen created a
system that requires us to want to or not to read text books and also look for them on the
internet and put it into practice

B : I think it's a good idea, especially if it's coupled with adequate facilities and infrastructure
that make students feel comfortable and e

A: good tough, it seems we have found the direction of what we are debating

B : I think so too

A : well, thank you, hopefully in the future mechanical engineering will be more advanced and
developed and become the most popular

B : youre welcome ayat, I hope so too

A : I think that's enough, wassalamualaijum wr wb
