ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES PARTNER'S COMMITMENT

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) is the primary

government agency mandated to ensure the sustainable use, development, management,
protection, and conservation of the environment and natural resources of the country for the
benefit of the present and future generations. The Department recognizes and welcomes
collaborative endeavors that promote its mandate in order to emphasize the importance of “Tayo
ang Kalikasan.”

I, CHRISTIAN VALERIO TABILIN, is committed to be involved in the initiatives of

the DENR in the protection, conservation, and proper management of the country’s environment
and natural resources. I fully support environmental management as one of the immediate actions
to help sustain mother earth.

Thus, after signing this ENR Commitment on November 25, 2021 in partnership with the
DENR, I also commit to practice environmental actions through but not limited to the following
activities until December 2022:
 avoid use of unnecessary plastic materials (such as PET bottles) and promote the
use of alternative environment-friendly materials such as bamboo tumblers,
reusable water containers, reusable straws, and the like;
 prefer riding bicycle from/to office and other destinations instead of using public
transportation/private vehicle;
 mobilize/encourage my peers/our employees to demonstrate environmental
protection within their household and community by practicing proper waste
disposal, reduce, re-use or upcycling materials, urban gardening, etc.
 participate in cleanup activities, urban gardening, to name some; and
 other environmental activities that I may be involved into.

Further, as I pledge to uphold environmentally-sound practices, I also commit to share

with the DENR, through the Strategic Communication and Initiatives Service some
documentations as proof of my commitment through email - scis.partnership@gmail.com which
could serve as reference for the DENR’s promotional materials and reports.
