ESSAY…
“How can ICT help in social change?"
Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) is a broader
term for Information Technology (IT), which refers to all communication
technologies, including the internet, wireless networks, cell phones,
computers, software, middleware, video-conferencing, social networking, and
other media applications and services.

Considering the world being a global village, Information

and communication technologies(ICT) have become more valuable
entity in all aspects of life. Over thirty years, the use of ICT has
fundamentally changed the practices and procedures of nearly all
forms of exertion surrounded by business, governance and
education. In recent years, many organizations and governments
have worked to increase frankness and clearness in their actions on
how Information and communication technologies (ICT’s) are
understood by many people as accost-effective and suitable means
to promote candidness and social changes in E-government, E-
learning and social interaction in particular. Some of these individual
efforts have received considerable attention on the issue of whether
these ICT-enabled efforts have the ability to create a substantive
social change in approaches toward transparency or not.In this
article, I reviewed multidisciplinary literature concerning the role of
ICT on social changes and transformation and identify some
viewpoints regarding the nature of the role ICT played in social
changes and transformation toward innovation. I then discuss four
formed by combining the perspectives on nature of the ICT
innovation on social development and transformation in a tabular
form. My review suggests that ICT research, in spite of its incredible
theoretical abilities to study technology innovation in relation to
socioeconomic context, remains weak in forming conclusive
arguments about IT-enabled socioeconomic development as a result
of digital divides

Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala,

pinakamataas mula noong Oktubre 18.

COVID-19 kaso noong Disyembre 19 noong nakaraang taon.

Aside from Jeepneys, tricycles are the second most popular means of
transportation here in the Philippines. These vehicles have been around for
quite some time that banning them is really impossible.

Tricyle or sometimes called as “trike” is a three-wheeled public utility vehicle

consisting of a motorcycle and an attached passenger’s side car. The
motorcycle is on the left side and a side car on the right side. These trikes
can be found everywhere in the country except on major or main roads.
They are painted colorfully and built in a variety of styles which differ from
city to city. The regular trike can accommodate three to five passengers and
luggage can be placed on the roof. Three people can fit inside the side car
and usually one or two passengers can ride behind the driver.

Jeepneys have fixed routes so the big advantage of the trike is that it will
bring you to every desired place.

Fare starts from Php8.00 and up, depending on the locality and the distance
to be ridden. They are always available, cheap and fast. If you want to pay
the lowest fare, you will wait until the trike is filled up with passengers. But if
you want the tricycle exclusively, just tell the driver you want a “special” ride.
He will charge a little extra but it’s more comfortable to ride alone.
If you’re a foreigner, your vacation isn’t over yet if you haven’t ridden a
Philippine-tricyle. This is a fun experience and definitely, a unique way of
travelling.
It’s more fun in the Philippines!
1.Made by a Filipino, for the Filipino. No one would have thought that
a short phrase held such great impact and could change a country’s
history. Indeed, the ability of a Filipino should never be
underestimated.
With more than 7,000 islands to count, the Philippine archipelago has
diverse ways of reaching any given destination. And being original as
they are, Filipinos did not just have any other vehicle in mind; it had
to be one with the Filipino culture, and something the Filipinos could
afford.the signage used by the tricycle drivers reflect not only of
Filipino expression where the vehicles communicate.
