<Symptom>
Repeated opening and closing the ADF may break the installation part of the Hinge Units [2] of the Base Frame [1].

<Cause>
Stress generated at opening and closing the ADF is concentrated to the installation part of the Hinge Units of the Base
Frame, causing a broken Base Frame.

<Factory Measures>
The thickness of the Ribs [3] of the installation part of the Hinge Units of the Base Frame is changed. The shape [4]
of the Hinge Units is changed accordingly.

Servicing Work:
A new setting of the Hinge Unit (FM2-8210-000) that is a set of the new type of the Hinge Unit and the Spacer [5]
is made.

a. If the above symptom occurs, replace the new type of the Base Frame and the Hinge Units simultaneously. There
is no need to install the Spacer.
b. When installing the new type of the Hinge Units to the old type of the Base Frame, install the Spacer.
