i. introduction
Bea: Hello everyone! We are group 1 of STEM 11 – L consisting of members Bea,
Marielle, Chrissa, Eddie, John, Patricia, Jose, Klarina and Hanz.

ii. Description of business

Marielle: Our business is called Jas ‘N Joy owned by Razel C. Funa and located in
Pueblo de Panay, Transport Terminal Point, Roxas City.
Chrissa: Jas 'N Joy business is a retail business from a storefront location selling
baked goods like cakes and cupcakes to food retailers and institutions. It is a sole
proprietorship with one owner that has full control of the bakery and business.
---: Our products consist of baked goods like cake, cupcakes, other baked treats,
and pastries. We also do special designs for delivery for our customers.

iii. Environment Analysis

iv. Organizational Plan

---: The business organizational structure starts with the owner and baker, Razel
C. Funa, to the assistant baker and then the storekeeper.
---:The role of the owner is to manage the funds,pay for the expenses and do the
baking and decorating of the baked treats and pastries for the customers. The
owner is responsible for establishing budgets and sales of their products. The
owner makes sure that the sales are sold or ordered. The owners also mentor the
staffs, sharing their service with the public, and analyzing the feedback of the
customers.
---: The other employees do a lot of work in the bakery as well. They bake,
assemble, and decorate the pastries and baked goods for the customers. Other
things the employees do is manage the physical store, like the cashiers. Since the
business started online, delivery is a must, so there are employees who deliver
the products to the customers in their own home.

vi. Marketing Plan

Jose:Product - As stated earlier, our products consist of baked goods which
contain high quality products to ensure the customers’ satisfaction. We also
accept custom decorations for our baked goods for birthdays and other events.
Jose: Place - The business is located in Pueblo de Panay, Transport Terminal Point
in Roxas City. I think that it is a great idea to put up a business near public
transport areas since it attracts tourists which could help you gain a new niche
market.
Gab: Promotion – Here in Jas N joy we offer different promos to attract
customers. We also promote the business through varying social media
platforms, attending trade fairs and food fest. Other than that we also added
different types of products to the menu that aren’t typically found in other Bakery
shops. We may also consider operating at home where we send the food to the
homes of our customers.
Gab: People- The people know the recent trends in baking so whenever the
customers find a trend and would like to have that product, we will be able to
graciously accept their request and provide them said trendy product. They’re
also a great means of marketing as they can spread the word about our business.
Gab: Packaging- Jas N’ Joy bakeshop attracts the hearts of the customers not only
for its taste and presentation but also for its packaging. Jas N’ Joy uses a red box
that can easily be opened has a logo placed at the center of the box. The logo has
the name of the bakeshop in a bold font that is easy to read by the costumer.
Lastly, in decorating the box Jas N’ Joy uses yellow or maroon satin ribbons by
tying it to the box. Jas N Joy also ensures that the baked goods and pastries arrive
at their destination looking and tasting as stunning as it looks when it is displayed.
