INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES:

1 This assignment is covered (CO3) - which allocates 30% of carry marks.

2 Form a group of FIVE (5) members
3 Students need to do online exhibition on any topics of safety around the world. They
need to present in class regarding their poster and any related information.
4 Students are required to do report writing of exhibition (proposal) according to the
guideline given.
5 Plagiarism, copying and cheating will not be tolerated, where no marks will be awarded and
disciplinary actions can be taken.
6 Report writing will be submitted to the lecturer on MONDAY, 14th FEBRUARY 2022 (WEEK
11) while the exhibition will be held on WEEK 13 (WITHIN WEDNESDAY-TUESDAY 23th
FEBRUARY - 1ST MARCH 2022)

GROUP PROJECT (EXHIBITION) 20%

A hazard is an object, situation or behavior that has the potential to cause harm in terms of injury,
ill health, or damage to property or the environment. Health and safety hazards exist in every
workplace. Some are easily identified and corrected, while others create extremely dangerous
situations that could be a threat to the worker’s life or long-term health. In particular, occupational
hazards include all those work activities and processes involving the worker, raw materials, and
processing activities such as operating machinery and handling chemicals.

INSTRUCTION:
i. Students must establish a group of at least 5 members.
ii. Students need to prepare Digital Poster/Posters and present it in the class session. It
also may include in the form of brochure, etc. that you find suitable for the purpose of
delivering information to audiences.
iii. The topic that you need to do for this project should be related to any topics of safety and
health management around the world. The following are examples of topics:

a. Fall, slip, and trip hazards

b. Lifting hazards
c. Vision hazards
d. Fire hazards
e. Chemical hazards
f. Physical hazards
g. Noise and vibration hazards
h. Common health risks (e.g., breathing problems, skin irritation, etc.)
i. Occupational diseases (e.g., asthma, carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic obstructive
pulmonary disease, etc.)

* You may choose any related topics in safety and health perspective. The
above topics are sort of examples, but it is not limited to the list.

iv. After completing the presentation, all groups need to submit the digital posters or any
materials of the project to your respective lecturer.
v. Students also need to prepare a report writing of exhibition (proposal) pertaining to the
topics that have been chose.
vi. Students are required to do an online exhibition and need to present regarding their
poster and any related information in class.

The report’s structures are as follows:

a) PART 1: INTRODUCTION
• Brief explanation regarding on the topic. (overall that you understand about
topic chosen)

b) PART 2: CONTENT OUTLINE

• Details of the topic. Any information specifically to explain about the topic.
It may include:
o Brief the THREE (3) objective of the topic chosen. (why you choose
this topic?)
o Brief the THREE (3) types, factors, effects of the risk.

c) PART 3: RECOMMENDATIONS
• Provide THREE (3) recommendations/suggestions related to the topic.
Anything that may suitable (For example: you give recommendations on

• Summarization of the topic (Based on your readings, findings and
understandings).

e) PART 4: REFERENCE
• Write the reference of the selected article in APA style.

vii. The assignment’s formats are followed:

o Font – Arial / Size 11 / 1.5 spacing / Justify Alignment

o Main title / topic – Bold and CAPITAL LETTER
o Page number – Bottom and Center
o A complete Table of Content
o Use APA style for references
o Report must save to PDF Format before submit.
o At least 10 pages and above (maximum 15 pages).
o The assignment submits after the dateline will NOT be accepted.
