Class Policies
1. ATTENDANCE – will be checked 15 minutes after the start of the period. If a student reaches the maximum number of allowable absences, he/she will be given a grade of FA
(Failure due to Absences) which is equivalent to 5.0
2. EXAMINATIONS – there will be 2 departmental examinations, PE and FE.
3. UNIFORM – all students are required to wear the prescribed uniform upon entering the classroom together with their IDs.
4. CLASS DECORUM – students are always expected to be in their best behavior while inside the classroom. Cellular phones must be placed on silent mode during class hours to
avoid disruption of class discussions.
5. CHEATING – students who are caught cheating on any activity, laboratory exercises, quizzes or exams will be sanctioned.
6. SPECIAL QUIZZES – will only be given to students with valid reasons (sick students – should present a medical certificate; death of immediate family member – should present
death certificate). Special Quizzes will be given only once before the final examination and it will be a comprehensive exam.
7. SUBMISSION POLICY – to promote professionalism and competence, submission of requirements and deliverables must always be on time. The teacher reserves the right NOT to
accept late submissions and will rate the requirement as failed or zero.
8. PLAGIARISM – using the oral or written words and ideas of others without proper acknowledgment is plagiarism and is an academic offense. As a form of academic misconduct,
students found guilty face serious consequences as stipulated in the Student.
