Listening activity 1 – Video: How’s your new job, Hector? (25 min)
Pre- Video Activity
Ask students to pay attention to the picture that appears in Part A. Make them answer the questions: Where are Hector, Naomi, and Mateo? Answer: They are in a dinner. What is Naomi doing with the chocolates? Answer: Naomi is showing Hector the opportunities of his job choice.
During Video Activity
Make them to move to the Part B. Ask students to read the conversation to get familiar with the text. Play the video 3 times for students to watch it. Ask them to pay attention and fill in the blanks according to the video's information. After watching the video, the teacher will read the conversation to provide them the correct answers.
After Video Activity
Ask students to focus in the Part C. Ask students to read each statement carefully and write newspaper or clothing store according to the paragraph's information. The teacher will provide the corrects answer for each statement to help students to correct their mistakes.

Listening activity 2 – Filling out a job application (20 min)
Pre- Video Activity
Discuss with the students the following questions: Have you ever been applied for a job? How was it? Did you feel nervous? Which things do you consider that we have to avoid at the moment of applying for a job? What can we do to have an advantage when we apply for a job?
During Video Activity
Ask students to read the paragraph to get familiar with the text. Encourage them to pay attention to the audio Rules for Filling out an application job. Play the video 3 times for students to watch it. Ask them to pay attention and fill in the blanks according to the audio's information. After listening the audio, the teacher will read the conversation to provide them the correct answers.
After Video Activity
After the fill in the blanks, the teacher will discuss some rules with the students. Encourage students to use the paragraph's vocabulary when they provide their opinions.
