Discussion:

Entrepreneurship refers to the process of creating a new enterprise and


bearing any of its risks, with the view of making the profit.

It is an act of seeking investment and production opportunity, developing and


managing a business venture.

The person who creates a new enterprise and embraces every challenge is an
entrepreneur.

Being a 6th Grader with innovative ideas and


creative imagination of concepts are the key in
making your own venture in business on becoming a
starter as an entrepreneur.
The goal of an entrepreneur is to earn and make
profit out of the budget of his/her desired
product/service.

Starting your own business entails serious hard


work. What type of business do you want to get
into? A business involves selling a product or
service or both.

A product is something that is manufactured following a process.


A service is a facility supplying a public or market demand.

Examples:

1. Internet Café

2. Computer Repair and Maintenance

3. Video Production

4. Web Design

5. Computer Training

HERE ARE THE STEPS IN MAKING YOUR OWN PRODUCT

1. Design your product. Make a sketch of the product you have in mind.

2. Decide what materials to use. Unleash your creativity by choosing the


right materials for your product. Consider the availability and cost when
selecting the materials.

3. Create the product. Create first the initial version of the product.

4. Evaluate the first version and make the necessary adjustments or


changes. Have a good look with your product. You may also ask
suggestions from relatives and friends for improvements.

5. Determine the price of your product. Compute for the costs incurred in
making the product. You may also include miscellaneous cost and creativity
fee.

6. Advertise your product.
