Respected sir,

Respectfully, it is submitted that I am an Employee of BBMB cadre presently working

under the administrative control of worthy Superintending Engineer, DPH Circle, BBMB (PW), Slapper in
Operation Division as Mechanical Mistry. I have retired on dated 30.09.2020 after attaining the age of
superannuation on dated 30.09.2020(58 years + 05 Months extension period). Thereafter, I was re-
employed on contract basis for 1 year (1 st spell) w.e.f. 1/10/2020 to 30/9/2021 vide Special Secretary
BBMB Chandigarh office’s letter no. 23835/NV/2004 dated 25.09.2020.

Sir, I possess good health and vast knowledge/ experience of working in BBMB and
served in different capacities in operation Division at Dehar Power house. So I request your kind honor
to consider my case for re-employment on contract basis w.e.f. 1/10/2021 to 30/9/2022 for which I
assure your good self that I will leave no stone unturned to discharge my duties efficiently and honestly
to the entire satisfaction of my officers and oblige please.

BBMB service. I hereby submit my option for re-employment on contractual basis for one year w.e.f.

As per the instructions issue vide Special Secretary BBMB Chandigarh Memo No. 41191-
42000 dated 06/12/2018 & your office endorsement No.12056-59 dated 14.12.2018. The case in respect
of Sh. Chet Ram Mech. Mistry for the re employment on contractual basis for one year w.e.f. 1/10/2021
to 30/9/2022 (2nd spell) for the post of Mechanical Mistry is submitted as under:

Sh. Chet Ram is working as Mech. Mistry in the office of Sr. Xen, Operation Division,
BBMB(PW) Sapper has retired from service on 30.09 2020 after attaining the age of superannuation viz.
58 years. Thereafter, he was re-employed on contract basis for 1 year (1 st spell) w.e.f. 1/10/2020 to
30/9/2021

It is submitted that Sh. Chet Ram Mech/Mistry has very good experience and conversant
with the works of Operation Division viz. Operation of Dehar Machines & its allied equipment’s for its
proper running & all the system remained healthy during running starting & Stopping condition of Dehar
machines. He has performed duties in different floors/ Different locations of Dehar Power House i.e.
MCR, Turbine Floor, TG Floor, Transformer Deck Switch yard & Butter Fly Valve etc. and he perform
duties even in double shifts if necessary as per requirement. His experience may be utilized for smooth
running of Dehar Machines successfully. Keeping in view of the above, it is requested that Sh. Chet Ram
Mech/Mistry after his 1 spell complete on dated 30.09.2021 may Kindly be re-employed on contract
basis for one year (2nd spell) w.e.f. 01.10.2021 and onwards for availing his innovative services for
smooth running of Dehar Machines)

The succession plan against the above retire can be considered on priority by arranging
the regular mechanical Mistry either through promotion or induction from partner state power utilities
till the time the services of Sh. Chet Ram can be utilized in the interest of board work

In view of above and acute shortage of staff of this category the case of Sh. Chet Ram
Mech/Mistry for re-employment on contractual basis (2 nd Spell) w.e.f. 1/10/2021 to 30/9/2022 for the
post of Mech. Mistry is strongly recommended for the period of one year in the interest of board as per
new policy.

Hence submitted for approval from the competent authority please.

 Justification for re-employment on contract basis of Sh Chet Ram Mech. /Mistry

In this is submitted that Sh. Chet Ram is working as Mech. Mistry in the office of Sr. Xen,
Operation Division, BBMB(PW) Sapper has retired from service on 30.09.2020 after attaining the age of
superannuation viz. 58 years. Thereafter, he was re-employed on contract basis for 1 year (1 st spell)
w.e.f. 1/10/2020 to 30/9/2021. Presently lot of posts of Mechanical Mistry are lying vacant due to
retirement and no further new appointment is being done.
