2. Good morning everyone and Welcome to SIBUGAY TECHNICAL

INSTITUTE INCORPORATED, here in Lower Taway, Ipil,
Zamboanga Sibugay where it is accredited by Technical Education
and Skill Development Authority (TESDA) because of its
ladderized program and where it is also identified as one of the
Assessment Center in Zamboanga Sibugay. Right now it can
accommodate trainees for National Certificate levels qualification
for middle level manpower.

3. By the way I am Mr. Jeson M. Licanda, Your trainer here in

SIBUGAY TECHNICAL INSTITUTE INCORPORATED in DRIVING
NC II under Automotive and Land Transport. And thank you for
choosing this school for you to learn.
Before we proceed with this training, I have here your attendance
sheet, kindly pass and please write your name, contact number
and please do not forget to affix your signature because this will
serve as your attendance for today’s meeting. (Ok, I signed also)
And now I have your attendance and as I call your name please

3. Let’s us proceed. To start with, DRIVING NC II is under the

sector of Automotive and Land Tranport. It is a Qualification and
has three competency standards, namely, Basic, Common and
Core Competencies (Read the slides) and you can see all of these
in our Training Regulation (TR) and Competency Based
Curriculum (CBC) and of course here in our learning station
specifically; at practical work area. Each Unit of competency has
its corresponding learning activity. Okay. Any question regarding

4. Let’s us proceed to the orientation of our training delivery

approach which is the CBT. CBT means Competency-Based
Training. It is an approach that focuses on the competency
 development as a result of the training; CBT is based on these
Principles: 1-10 (Read the slides) Ok, Any question or

5. Let’s move to my role as a trainer (read the slides)

Let as proceed to your role as a trainee you have also the role to

6. Let me introduce the CBLM, I have here the CBLM or

Competency Based Learning Material. It is a learning material
that gives information and instructions to the trainees in the
task that they are going to perform. Trainees, every unit of
competency has 1 CBLM to learn. ( Present example of CBLM)

DRIVING NC II has eleven CBLM and these will serve as the

main material and guide in your training. Of course, I am now
going to state to you the Parts of CBLM. These are the following:
References, Performance Criteria Checklist, Operation/Task/Job
Sheet, Self Check, and Answer key, Information Sheet, Learning
Experiences, Learning Outcome Summary, Competency
Summary, List of Competencies and the Front Page. Any

In order to determine your competence you will be evaluated

based on the ff. Criteria (Read the slide). Any question for your

8. Before starting with any module, I want you to answer first the
Pre-assessment, this pre-assessment will help me determine
your training needs and to be able to recognize prior learning.

9. Ok, so, I am done checking the pre-assessment and your
portfolio and I have seen that 2 of you have this prior learning on
Implementing and Coordinating Accident-Emergency Procedures.
The remaining students will be grouped into 3 (you will undergo
interview and demonstration on module for you to receive
the certificate of achievement)
Group 1, you may start at module 1 do task sheet 1.1-1, Mr.
Zaldivar and Mr. Camsain in the learning resource area. Group 2
for module 2 perform job sheet 4.1-2 in the practical work area.
Mr. Sillana and Mr. Fiel, and Group-3 for module 3 research and
read information sheet 3.3-1 in the computer laboratory Ms.
Yonting and Ms. Tutuan. Is that clear? (yes Sir.) If you have
questions regarding your assigned module, just address your
questions to me for clarification. Ok, trainees let me remind you
the 5’S and safety measures based on the standard operating
procedures.... Ok, you may do now your task in the given
