It is the only
planet with life and provides every manly need—food, water, shelter. Ever since the start of the
COVID-19 pandemic and the implementation of lockdown protocols, people have begun
wearing face masks and gloves as part of the new normal. COVID-19 pandemic is the worst
health crisis of our generation. It is severely challenging the Philippines, with the rising of
COVID-19 cases, health and governance systems operating on maximum capacity, and
quarantine and physical distancing measures. Over 2 million workers have lost their
employment, and 22 million students are out of school due to the pandemic. People are a lot
more cautious during Covid-19. As we can see, people are a lot more cautious due to the
deadly virus. [Body] The COVID-19 pandemic is having a tense influence on the global
community; on people's lives and our well-being, resources, economies, and behaviors and the
most zoonotic virus pandemics, including COVID-19, rise from the unsustainable exploitation of
life, and with the social distancing and wearing of face masks, we felt disconnected from our
family and friends who are far away from us. We were made to be out and about and socialize
with other people on Earth. Our life to the post-COVID time, no matter how long it might be,
must comprise a complex narrative – not that of return to old filthy habits, but of transition to a
new realm that prioritizes people's health and the planet Earth. We face approximately 347,000
confirmed cases, 294,000 recoveries, and 6,443 deaths in the Philippines. These unfortunate
happenings that are happening right now have led us to be disconnected from society. Hence,
the number of various infections and diseases have lessened. We are living in an unparalleled
time globally. We are all coping with the interruptions, confusion, and changes to our lives due
to the COVID-19 pandemic. No matter how frustrating, confusing, or scary this crisis gets, fear
doesn't have the final say. [Conclusion] It is coherent to see that the variations that have
occurred during COVID-19 taught us a lesson about how we should always take care of
ourselves no matter what. We are fighting our own battles right now, and being cut off to see our
friends and family and the outside world may have been a struggle. Still, I know that we could
get through this together. It is for our good and the greater good that we stay in our homes. We
could help our nation stand up and fight for our health workers at the frontlines in this
battle—they became our new world heroes. We also acknowledge our low-skilled workers who
play a meaningful role in battling the pandemic. Our janitors and our street sweepers keep our
communities clean for us to be free from the risks that may endanger our health. To our
barangay officials, the police, and government employees who ensure our countrymen's safety
and well-being in the communities, every family has food on the table and gets through each
day. To the civil society initiatives and non-government organizations who take part in giving out
basic needs to the less fortunate. Now, as we strive to transition from our young lives without
lockdown to the 'new normal' with the rest of the globe, I hope that the spirit of our resilience and
the camaraderie among Filipinos and the global community persist and win against all the
forces that try to bring the whole world down. Let us stay safe, well-informed, and optimistic as
we fight hand in hand. We will get through this crisis unitedly, and we will be multiple steps
