MENTAL WELLNESS IN A DIGITAL ECONOMY

Play • Engage • Allow Learning

Muhamad Zairulnizam Baharom

Play
Play is voluntary and
pleasurable action that offers a
sense of disengagement from
our routine and an
engagement with ourselves.
The process of play is more
important than the result of the
game.

Engage
Engagement results in Why is stress important to you?
attentive, persistent, and
committed learners. Learners
value their discovery and …………………………………………………………………………………………
associate positive meaning to
their development. This …………………………………………………………………………………………
motivates them to persist even
if it is challenging to produce
an optimum performance. Circle the area you feel pain every-time you
are stressed.
Allow Learning
Learning is best when one
gains it through a voluntary
process. It is about the learner
taking the initiative to explore
possibilities, reflecting their
new experience and finding
ways too assimilate to their
present thoughts. Thus they
take the initiative and
responsibility to pursue the
learning; making them the
driver of their learning
experience.

Gamify Your Office (Tips)

Continuous Learning. Start a game to encourage continuous learning in your office. It could be a
book, a chapter, an article they read. It could be a Youtube video, a podcast or a speech they hear from
spotify. Create a leaderboard to see who have been learning the most. You may put a carrot at the end
of the stick. Coping with stress is always about doing your own research and what works for you.
