Part A
Healthy green food is a new trend which opened so many opportunities for a
business world. Eating healthy is a very important part of the life of numerous
people. Poor diet is related with healthy risks that can cause illnesses and even
death. These are heart disease, high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes
(HHS,2017).
“Mommy Pot” is going to offer for the customers balanced green soups and salads.
Soup can play an impressive role in creating healthy meal and promoting overall
health. Soups contain important vitamins, antioxidants and it is packed with
carbohydrates (SpoonfulofComfort,2014). Eating a bowl of broth is a very good
method to cover the recommended daily amount of vegetables. Soup is a food for all
seasons. In cold months selling warm hearty pots and in summertime treating
customers with fruit filled cold soups. There is nothing better than mummy soup
healing our souls and bodies.
“Mommy Pot”, the soup and salad bar will be in the high street store at the Bullring.
Location is a perfect place to gain a huge amount of variety of customer such as
students, local and international visiting the shopping park daily. Business is an
innovative idea and there is no other similar bar in the area offering same kind of
healthy food in simple form of soup and quick service system.

Business objectives:
- To encourage people to eat healthy green food by serving quality food in the
affordable prices. Buying a fresh and local vegetables is going to cost the
business a lit bit more however providing the healthy food for the customer
seeing the dining alternatives is a very good option to gain more consumers
satisfied by warm, fresh and affordable products.
- To manage customer relations; to help the bar to succeed and build the
strong reputation in the community the aim is to make a customer as much a
possible satisfied. Warm and accommodating atmosphere will spread the
positive feedback about the company to bigger number of customers.
- To attain high level of advertising by marketing strategy. Good way of
promoting the company is going to conclude in getting larger customer base.
In view of establishing the new business is become visible through the social
media as Instagram, Facebook and by more traditional way such as printed
leaflets. Developing the image of the company will help with a successful
growth.
- To become a leader with unique food service company offering a simply,
healthy receipt soups and salads on the market. None of the restaurant in
area is offering similar type of the services for the consumers. There is a huge
opportunity to become first organic soup bar promoting healthy lifestyle which
is very important for people and environment.

Business will be opened as a partnership company. Partners are going to join their
experience, knowledge and assets to run the company very successful. Company
owned by two people is less stressful in managing as you share all the
responsibilities together, helping each other with making the decisions and
supporting in all the task involved with running the company.

Pestle analysis is very important and useful tool when starting the new business. It is
analysing and monitoring the macro environmental factors that may have an impact
on company performance and success.

They are few political factors impacting on the business such as tax reforms and
health regulations. Government wants to have an influence on the restaurant
industry, and they created various regulations taking care of the health of the people.
Food industry business need to fallow the standards: cleanliness of commercial
kitchens, storage and transportation of the products.

Due to increased spending by the consumer the company needs to be prepared to
improve customer service and provide the products gaining the consumer interest.
Economic situation of population is very important for a bar like “Mommy Pot” as it is
influenced by individual spending on food.

Health trend is the most affecting factor for a business. Social media made people
aware of risks eating not healthy. Population is avoiding the food containing the high
calories. “Mommy Pot” as a new brand is going to offer the potential clients the
products which are healthy and low in calories.

Change in technological trends and innovations affected the way the brands are
using to attract the consumers. It has changed the perception of promoting the
products by engaging the customers by the social media and online feedback.
Legal
Legal factors highly depend on the specific legal environment in every country. The
food regulations and laws affected the food quality and nutrition requirements.
“Mommy Pot” is creating the food in safe and healthy environment fallowing the
sales and marketing regulations. Other competitive companies have created a high
level of contest in engaging the customers, therefore it is crucial to keep very high
level of hygiene and compliance.
Environmental
Organic and healthy food become very popular in developed countries. People are
conscious of the importance of balanced healthy diet, food safety, human and animal
health. Green food soups are prepared freshly, and they do not include chemicals,
pesticides and preservatives.

“Mommy Pot” is going to offer the healthy products for the customers which are
aware of importance of a healthy diet. Students are a very valuable customers as
they are influenced by social media. Attractive online promotion will make people
aware of the business and will increase repeat visits. Business objective is to make
people more aware of a green food value for our bodies and minds making sure
consumer knows what the company goal and what principles it is represents. Clear
marketing objectives establishing the right path for the business and the right
message to their customers.

Target Markets
The business will serve wide range of customers starting with students due to the
near location of University of Roehampton and surrounding universities. “Mommy
Pot” is targeting in green consumers caring about the healthy lifestyle beginning from
the adult to babies and the people that dine in by themselves. In first instance it is
focusing on young people which prefers fresh, natural ingredients and would rather
fast casual dining over the traditional fast food.
