Recap Activity for Quadrilaterals

TOPIC: Understanding Quadrilaterals

Groups have already been created. Participation of each student is mandatory.
A power point presentation needs to be made for the assigned topics. Each member of the
group to kindly contribute. One of the member can put together all the slides and give animation
effects and compile the ppt.The first slide of the ppt should be the GROUP NO. along with the
name of the group members.
Remember once it’s done, each group will be showcasing what they have done and present the
same too.

  TOPIC
Group 1  1.What are Curves:
2.open curves and closed curves
3. Simple Curves
4. Polygons on the basis of sides
(Can use geoboard too)
5. Sum of interior angles of a polygon
Group 2  1. Sum of interior angles of a polygon
2. No. of diagonals in a polygon
3.(can use geoboard/geogebra too)
4. Exterior Angles of a polygon
5. 2 different types of examples using different
questions on how this property can be used in
finding the measure of angles.
Group 3  1.Properties of Parallelogram
2.(can use geogebra too or the link for any
interactive activity can be inserted too)
3.Egs of objects in the shape of a parallelogram
in the real world
4and 5: 2 different types of examples using
different questions on how this property can be
used in finding the measure of angles.

Group 4  1.Properties of Rhombus

2.(can use geogebra too or the link for any
interactive activity can be inserted too)
3.Egs of objects in the shape of a rhombus in the
real world
4 and 5.: 2 different types of examples using
different questions on how this property can be
used in finding the measure of angles.

Group 5  1.Properties of Square

used in finding the measure of angles.

Group 7  1. Properties of Kite

2.Properties of Trapezium
3.(can use geogebra too or the link for any
interactive activity can be inserted too)
4and 5:Relationship between different
quadrilaterals e.g.
Is every parallelogram, a square?

NOTE: PRESENTATION OF THE SAME WOULD HAPPEN ONCE THE COLLABORATIVE WORK IS DONE.

Would like to see the slides on Monday so that a feedback can be given before its converted in the
form of a ppt.

As of now, Group 7 just work on relationship between different quadrilaterals.

Once,KITE and TRAPEZIUM is explained, you can then work on it.
