HVAC ASSOCIATES IN APPLIED SCIENCE PROGRESS REPORT


PURPOSE OF REPORT

The purpose of this report is to update the progress that has been made by Christopher Ryan
Tyler in pursuit of his HVAC Associates in Applied Science. The program was started
September 20th, 2021. We and are now halfway through the second quarter of seven. This report
was written on February 23, 2022.

CONCLUSION

With the completion of the second quarter just weeks away everything has gone great! I have
passed all my classes to date with a 3.5 GPA or higher. I have successfully learned the
fundamentals of electricity in HVAC/R as well as how to troubleshoot 70%, 80%, 90% and
electric furnaces. I have acquired both my Electrical Trainee License and Gas Mechanic’s I
License. I look forward to completing my degree in Applied Science for HVAC/R

RECCOMENDATIONS

Focus on sequence of operations and fundamentals of electricity of appliances as well as reading


schematics and wiring diagrams. These are the key topics in which a more in-depth knowledge
will be beneficial in the field. These are recommendations from Divco and other companies that
have visited and spoke with students in the HVAC Program at SCC.
