Site Supervision

LABOUR

The Tenderer is to enter hereunder the individual rates for

labour for skilled and unskilled workmen and gangers
employed on Dayworks at the discretion of the Engineer.
These rates shall be firm (fixed price) and charged at the
actual hour worked at the direction of the Engineer and the
rates shall include for all supervision charges, time
keeping expenses, insurance, the use and maintenance of
small tools, appliances and small plant, extended use of
standing scaffolding an plant, overtime, time lost due to
inclement weather, reduced productivity during Ramadan,
recruitment costs in respect of imported labour including
transportation to and from country of origin and all other
associated cost of providing for food for imported labour
(Note: the costs of and maintaining living, messing and
sanitary accommodation for imported workmen to be
included in Preliminaries.)and all other incentive payments,
public and other holidays with pay, sickness benefits and
all other costs arising out of statutory and other
requirements in respect of the employment of labour,
workmen's compensation insurance in accordance with
the Conditions of Contract, travelling time and all
establishment of charges and profit.

PLANT

Payment for working plant shall be for the actual hour

worked only. No allowance for standing time will be

1 DEMOLITION WORKS/DISMANTLING/ REMOVAL

1. The description given for demolition works are intended

to indicate. The Contractor is instructed to visit the Site to
obtain detailed information relating to each item of
demolition work.

2.The Contractor shall include for carrying out all demolition

works in a sequence and manner approved by the Engineer

3.All the materials which are identified by the Client for their
re-use, shall be packed in cartoon with the complete
inventory list, necessary marking on each cartoon and
handed over to the satisfaction of the Client .

4. Contractor shall coordinate all the work with other

agencies

5. Contractor shall provide necessary protection to existing

equipment’s, services & making them clean and ready as
per the instruction of Engineer
