The lecture workshop was designed to disseminate information and awareness to teachers with
regards to Child Protection Policy anchored from the Department of Education.
2. Methodology
In this training the proponent conducted a dissemination of information to all senior high school
teachers by having an orientation on the child protection policy mandated by the Department of
Education and Safeguarding Policy of Catarman National High School for Senior High
Department and public advisory released by the Department of Justice.

It is a lecture workshop thru the use of powerpoint presentation. The assigned speaker
provided an information and awareness to participants and discussed the assigned topic in
accordance to the Department of Education Child Protection Policy and Safeguarding Policy of
Catarman National High School for Senior High Department.

After the lecture workshop the participants are expected to have an understanding of the Child
Protection Policy and Safe Guarding Policy for Catarman National High School for Senior High
Department as it provides them understanding of the roles and responsibilities of key people in
our school in relation to safe guarding and child protection, they are able to identify signs and
symptoms of abuse in students and also help them to safeguard the students. Lastly, it provides
them the public advisory released by the Department of Justice in time of pandemic.
3. Management of the Activity
The assigned speakers provided a lecture workshop to disseminate information to participants
and discussed the assigned topics in accordance to the Department of Education Child
Protection Policy and Safeguarding Policy of Catarman National High School for Senior High
Department.
