I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
A. Identify the aims of Propaganda Movement.
B. Discuss different propagandists and their contributions
C. Explain the result of propaganda movement.
II. Content
A. Topic: The Propaganda Movement
B. Valuing: To understand and appreciate the contributions of propaganda movement in achieving
independence.

IV. Procedure
A. Preparatory activities
1. Review
The teacher will ask questions to the students as a review for the last lesson discussed last
meeting.
Question 1. What happened in the Cavite Mutiny?
Question 2. What the GomBurZa stands for?
2. Motivation
The teacher will present pictures of different propagandist and ask students if they are familiar
any of the pictures.
Follow up question: Probably you are familiar with the faces of the picture presented. But do
you know what group they are called? And its contribution to our nationalism?
B. Developmental Activities
1. Activity
Video presentation. The teacher will present a video about the aims of propaganda movement.

Follow up question: Give at least one aim of propaganda movement established by the

2. Analysis
The students will answer the table presented that shows the different propagandists and their
contributions to the movement.

3. Abstraction

4. Application
If I were you! In this activity, the teacher will ask situational question to the students.
1. See yourself as an Ilustrado studying in the Philippines while your fellow Filipinos in the
Philippines are oppressed by the Spaniards. Would you still write criticism and convey
reform knowing that your life would be at stake for doing so?
