I. Introduction

Wrap Gift Items

Filipinos are known for being warm and affectionate. Sending gifts on
special occasions is one way of expressing our affection and concern. We send
gifts on special occasions such as birthdays, Christmas, Easter, Christening,
Wedding, Valentine’s Day, and other instances. Wrapping and packing are
essential parts of giving. A gift in personalized gift wrap is a delightful way of
sending love to a friend or loved one.

2. Recognize the importance of the proper usage of materials and tools

3. Make a simple gift wrapping with the use of indigenous materials.

VI. Procedure (Knowledge)

Technical of Terms:

1. Gift Wrapping- is the act of enclosing a gift in some sort of material.

2. Scissors– an instrument used of cutting cloth, paper, and other thin


material, consisting of two blades laid one on top of the other and
fastened in the middle to allow them to opened and closed by a thumb
and finger inserted through rings on the end of their handles.

3.Tape-A narrow strip of material typically used to hold or fasten


something.

4. Yarn- Spun thread used for knitting, weaving, or sewing.

5.Ribbon-A long narrow strip of fabric, used for typing something or for
decoration.

6.Cutter- A tool that is used to remove some material from workpiece by


means of shear deformation.

7.Gift Tags- A piece or strip of strong paper, plastic, metal, leather, etc.. for
attaching by one to something as mark or label.

8.Box- A container with a flat base and sides, typically square or


rectangular and having a lid.

9. Ribbon bow- are often formed by typing a loose knot of a thread or


ribbon which then results into a unique and fascinating appearance.

10. Glue – a sticky substance used for joining things together, often for
repairing broken things.
