Project Title Music Video – Let You By Iann Dior.

Section 1: Review (Approx. 100 words)

When I first joined level 3 media production, I already had experience in creative
arts as I did media production level 2, but I have gained a lot of knowledge within
the past 7 units. I have improved my social skills, editing skills (Premiere-Pro).
Photoshop skills and camera skills(I have used Sony x70 cameras and I have also
used zoom microphones). I believe that I am a very fast learner and level 3 media
production has already taught me a lot in the short amount of time that we have had
so far.
Section 2: Project Concept (Approx. 200 words)
For my music video I have chosen to do Iann Dior – Let You. This is a new song as
it only came out this year. The style of the song fits with the idea of our music video
as we want to make it very trippy and fun with a lot of colours. We were inspired by
Iann Dior’s and Machine Gun Kelly’s music video, but we are taking it to the next
level and adding visual effects (By using After Effects) and animations to my music
video as it fits the vibe of the song. The story behind my music video is that a
teenage boy will be listening to this song, but the viewers enter his own little world
where he is following a girl who is only bad for him, but he just keeps on following
her as he loves her. They are seen as an angel and a devil in the way that the
woman he loves is bad for him and he is so pure, but she is just bad to him and
every time he listens to the song, he is always reminded of this woman in his mind
who will never be good enough for him. My music video will be a narrative and
performative video as there will be a story in the music video and there will also be
someone performing the song in parts on the music video.
Section 3: Evaluation (Approx. 50 words)
I will be recording all of my music video evidence on Weebly (which is your own
website) I will be doing this by adding different sections for individual parts of
production, such as production, research, context and evaluation. I will be updating
my Weebly daily as it will show all of the steps to making a well-produced music
video.
