Project Title ‘Tomorrow’

Section 1: Review (Approx 100 words)


This year, I have learnt how create an action plan as well as a detailed pre-
production folder which gives me a clear way to planning what I am going to be
doing each day and how to organise my work in a concise and coherent manner. I
have also learnt how to operate the different equipment, including cameras, such
as Sony VG20, as well as audio equipment. I have improved and gained editing
skills on programme such as photoshop and Final Cut Pro. I understand how to
record and then that footage to a computer. I can use different editing techniques
and have been able to create cohesive media products.
Section 2: Project Concept (approx 250 words)
Within the project I will be making a music video that focuses on the theme of
positivity within society. This is going to be done through my own footage an
archive footage. My archive footage is going to show positive news clippings, both
surrounding the Convid-19 outbreak and positive news that is being overlooked due
to the outbreak. My own clips will include footage of children’s toys used to
represent society and archive footage of home-clips that I have filmed myself or
have access to these clips will be in reference to news articles shown.
I am going to be using ‘Tomorrow’ by Set It Off, an American punk group. The song
has a positive focus on looking to the future.
The purpose of the music video is to show the positive with society, this is through
positive news clippings and positive ways people are reacting to the Convid-19,
examples of this are the support being shown for the NHS workers and the
food/care packages being created.
Section 3: Evaluation (approx 50 words)
I am recording and reflecting on my project using ‘Weebly’, an online website
builder which I am updating my progress on, this includes any changes made in my
project and my evaluation of my project. This is important as it allows me to see my
progress and what changes I have made, I will be reflecting daily on my progress,
this is to evidence the work I am doing.
