Title : Supervisor (billing)

Report to (title): Finance manager

Role : 'Manage' Income part of all department and handles


collections for the organisation

Responsibilities:

 To bill consumers and make sure the companies or clients whom the
supervisors represent are paid in a timely manner
 To track accounts of customers
 To make sure that payments are current and accurate.
 In the event a payment is skipped or falls short of the required amount,
billing supervisors will attempt to find the reason for the delinquency.
That typically involves include sending a "past due" reminder in the mail,
or calling the person who owns the account.
 Billing supervisors may also be in charge of determining the amount of
late fees to an overdue balance. Some work with delinquent customers by
creating new, easier payment plans.
 Responsible for dealing with money transactions of the organization
 Maintaining a good rapport and communication with the employees and
clients
 handles custom, complex billing, payroll and reporting process design
and implementation; troubleshoots billing and invoicing issues with
branch offices and internal departments; evaluates and audits staff
compliance with policies and procedures; effectively delegates work
assignments, as needed; oversees the department work flow to meet
established deadlines

 Must be organized, analytical, a capable problem-solver and work well
alone or as a member of a team.
 Should have a firm grasp of arithmetic and computer software  used for
billing. While a billing supervisor should be courteous and professional
when dealing with past-due customers
 Should also need to be assertive from time to time.
 Must possess the ability to effectively manage time and demonstrate the
strong organizational skills needed to handle multiple priorities.
 Fast and accurate alpha/numeric data entry skills are required, along with
a proficient, working knowledge
 Must be also be proficiently capable in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel
and Access. 

Job qualification:

 Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.


 Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access.

Minimum yrs of experience needed: A minimum of five years of experience

in the similar field.
