● A little blue box with a light bulb should be at the bottom of the screen. This is
for the document camera.

Daily Routines
● Take attendance and lunch count using the yellow chart on the back bulletin
board.
● Attention Getters: “Time Out” then make the time out signal with your
hands. All Students stop working, look at you, go to a volume zero, and make
the time out signal back to you
● Classroom Bathroom Procedure: They are allowed to ask you to go to the
bathroom if it is an emergency otherwise the dedicated times to use the
restroom are at lunch, recess, or any break time. They may also ask to go
during any time that you are not doing direct instruction.
● Classroom Management: Please review the class social contract in the back
of the room with the students. Remind them that they are expected to
follow this at all times with you.
● Here is an idea if you need to use it . Write the word BREAK on the board :
If students are not transitioning well, you may erase a letter from the word
break on the board. If the letters are gone, they lose their break the
following day.
● RTC: If a student is being disruptive/not listening/etc, you may ask them
the RTC questions. “What are you doing? What are you supposed to be
doing? Are you doing it? What are you going to do to change that? What
happens next?” If you have to ask again, send the student out to the back of
the room. Give them a responsible thinking form to fill out.
● Sick Forms: orange sick forms to send to the office if a student is not
feeling well.
● Important Extensions are located on the phone if you need to get a hold of
someone in the office.
● Link to a student selector wheel: https://wheelofnames.com/td3-4y7
● If anytime throughout the day you need the kids to have a calm moment, you
may display this on the screen. Click on the windows, fish tank, fire place, or
picture above to display a calming scene.
