1. The students can understand about area and perimeter
2. The students can use square units to find the areas of plane figures made of square and half-
square
3. The student can compare the areas of plane figures and make plane figures of the same area.
II. INDICATOR
1. Understood about area and perimeter.
2. Use square units to find the areas of plane figures made of square and half-square
3. Compare the areas of plane figures and make plane figures of the same area.

Pencils, eraser, Laptop, Pupil’s Book, Workbook, Google Classroom, Powerpoint

Lesson :
Activity Description Time

Openin 1. Greeting all students and checking students’ attendance. 15 minutes

g 2. Ask the students to prepare the books and sit down nicely.
3. Praying and singing (Good Morning, Ibu Kita Kartini, Mars Dynata,
Mars PPK) songs together.
4. Explain the class rules and learning objectives.
5. Recalling students’ prior knowledge about area, square units, and
compare areas of plane figures and make a plane figures of the same
area.
Whilst 1. The students read the counting square tiles to find an area of the 30 minutes
Pupil’s book.
2. Students are understanding concpet of an area.
3. The teachers explain how to solve the square units and compare
areas of plane figures.
4. Teachers and students discuss together
5. Guiding students to practice on Pupil’s book and the students
 explain how to square units.
6. Guiding students to conclude that the counting square has to do step
by step
Closing 1. Guiding students to conclude what are the materials that have been 15 minutes
discussed.
2. Giving information that is related to the next subject.
3. Praying together to end the meeting.
4. Saying goodbye.

IV. ASSESSMENT
Attitude
Students’ attitudes will be assessed during the meeting through observation of how the
students discipline during the meeting and responsible for the task given.
Knowledge
Students’ knowledge will be assessed by checking the result of their pupil’s book.
Skill
Students’ skills will be assessed through practical by assessing their explanation about
area and perimeter.
