Activity 2:
a. Media literacy is the ability to access, analyze, evaluate
and create media in various forms. Information literacy is
the ability to recognize when information is needed and to
locate, assess and communicate information in its various
formats effectively. Technological literacy refers to an
individual's ability, independently or with others, to use
technological resources responsibly, appropriately and
effectively.
b. No, it's different. They may be similar, but it depends on
the devices you use. As with technology, you have to use
tools to manipulate media. Media literacy abounds on
news updates. Although information literacy abounds in
educational information resources you can find.
c. Digital literacy is a part of media literacy. They both fall
under the information literacy which is the ability to find,
identify, evaluate and use information effectively. Digital
literacy applies specifically to media from the Internet,
smartphones, video games and other non-traditional
sources.
