How will you advertise your Barangay so other people or tourists might want to visit your
place?
⮚ Alae is a place for people who are interested in hiking, and having a resting
place here. It is a great choice to either come here or stay here because it's a
peaceful place and people are friendly here.

Additional information (please omit this when submitting the paper)

For those who have been born or grew up in Cagayan de Oro, do research on your local
barangay. If you are from outside Cagayan de Oro, you may opt to do a research paper on the
local history of your municipality, city (outside CdO), or barangay.

The Introduction should begin with the etymology of the name of your place, and what is your
place well known for (ex. Valencia City Bukidnon - The City of Golden Harvest), and why is it
called as such (if there is the available information on this).

Barangay Profile should be the latest available data from either the Philippine Statistics
Authority or the local city/municipal/barangay information office. This should be validated and a
link from the office/s will be most appreciated.

History Profile should include the make-up of the city/municipality/barangay such as the total
number of barangays/sitios/puroks. The earliest inhabitants of the place and where is the first
settlement found. Include also the pioneers of the place together with their families (last names).
The first site of the settlement, the common or popular livelihood or industry and natural
resources of the place. Discuss also the migration of settlers in the place covering the period
from pre-Spanish, Spanish, before and after Second World War, and the population growth of
the place. Include also local heroes who have made significant roles in the independence,
economic, social, and political aspects if there are any.

Finally, for the Conclusion how will you advertise your place so that tourists will come and visit
and leave good memories from your place.
