Activity No. 8: Bloom’s Taxonomy

Answer The Following:

As A Future Teacher,
1. How Do You Apply Bloom’s Taxonomy In Your Classroom?

Answer:
As a future teacher, I will apply Bloom’s Taxonomy in my classroom through using
action verbs to better guide my learning intents so that my students can demonstrate
their learning. To enhance the learning of the students, I will discuss the lesson in
an organize and objective way, provide assessment that the students needs to apply the
6 levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy such as KWL reflection or the overall learning of the
students, and I will monitor their progress. In addition, using bloom-style questions
to promote deeper thought, which can help students make connections, move their
thinking to higher level, and develop cognitively.
2. How would you use bloom’s taxonomy in a lesson plan?

Answer:
Bloom's taxonomy would be incorporated into my lesson plan by including bloom's
taxonomy questions to aid in the organization of my objectives from lower to higher
order cognitive thinking, as well as an exercise to assess my students' thinking
levels. I will make sure that bloom's taxonomy level 6 is included in my lesson
plan. In other words, as students’ progress through the taxonomy, they gain more
knowledge, skills, and a better understanding of the material they're learning. As
a result, i may match with the different levels of the taxonomy by designing lesson
plans and tasks utilizing the examples of verbs provided. I will also include tasks
that will put sluggish learners to the test. In addition, i will include tasks that
will test slow learners while also developing depth for advanced students who are
ready to advance.
