Incidence Description:
The observer and mentor, Mrs. Hershey C. Correa, provided a technical assistance
during her online class observation in my English subject. Here are the things that she did in
order for me to deliver my lesson efficiently and effectively to my students:
 As a beginner teacher, she provided me some ideas and strategies on how to be an
effective and efficient teacher.
 Before the class observation starts, I submitted my Weekly Home Learning Plan to her to
thoroughly check it.
 She suggested some activities that I can use to better assess the understanding of my
students.
 She suggested some teaching strategies that I may use to effectively deliver my lesson
which can help to have better teaching-learning process.
 She gave some techniques on how to get the attention of the students easily.
 She gave some ideas on how to handle the behavior and characteristics of the students.
 During our post conference, she recommended to continue the following practices that
she had observed during my class:
a) Integration of the previous lessons and skills from the different subjects such as
communication skills and creative thinking.
b) Constructive management of learners’ behavior by applying positive and non –
violent discipline.
c) Cooperative and reflective thinking were evident.
d) Class atmosphere is conducive to learning and teaching
e) A learner centered approved with differentiated activities and inquiry- based
approach were utilized.
f) Classes are organized with individual and group activities that engaged learners
for meaningful exploration of learning.
g) Succeeds in stimulating a desire to learn.
