Learning Standard:
Main: 3.1.3 Blend phonemes (CVC, CCVC, CVCV, CCV)

Complementary: 4.1.2 ii) write letters and words in a straight line from left to right with regular spaces between words and spaces

Learning Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
• Blend phonemes into CVC and CCVC words
• Trace the words with the sounds of the day
• Read and match the pictures to the sounds
• Write words in neat and legible handwriting
Pre-lesson:
