my pleasure to support Taylor in her student teaching and long term substituting at Winans Elementary.
While principal, I observed a confident and well-prepared professional. Taylor’s ability to establish a
routine and consistency was remarkable for a new teacher. Taylor’s expectations provided structure to
maintain a sense of stability and warmth as she took over in a long-term substitute position has been the
foundation of her effectiveness. Taylor thoughtfully plans her days and approaches management
proactively. She has demonstrated incredible aptitude in working with distractible or students with
challenging behavior.

Taylor sets high expectations for herself as well as the students she works with. She has a keen
sense for children’s ability and seeks out advice and support to ensure student learning. Taylor is a
dependable and responsible professional.

I am confident in recommending Taylor Villarreal for an elementary teacher position. She is a

tenacious individual who would be an asset to any district. As a first-year teacher Taylor truly has
demonstrated the passion for learning as well as teaching.
