CONTRACTOR shall request and SAUDI ARAMCO shall issue, Work Permits, Cold
ENGG CERT

Work Permits and all other permits in accordance with Section 29 of the SAUDI
ARAMCO Construction Safety Manual. Work Permits shall only be issued to
BBJ/SAS

CONTRACTOR personnel who are certified to receive permits.

8.2.2 Initiating

CONTRACTOR shall initiate timely requests for Work Permits as per G.I. 2.100 to avoid
ISSUED FOR CONSTRUCTION

unnecessary delay.
DESCRIPTION

8.2.3 CONTRACTOR shall obtain a Work Permit before working in any area and shall obtain
dual signatures where work encroaches within 30 meters or less of existing facilities.

8.2.4 CONTRACTOR shall notify COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE and apply for Hot Work
permit one (1) week in advance and Cold Work permits twenty-four (24) hours in advance.

9.0 CLEAN UP

It is the Contractor’s responsibility to leave the work site clean and orderly upon completion of the
