Function
The ALMCLU board provides the interface between up to 24 alarm inputs (external contacts) and the CNCC4.
Features
The PBA-ALMCLU board has the following features:
A maximum of 24 alarm inputs can be connected.
Each alarm input can be individually enabled or disabled.
The status which represents an alarm state can be inverted for each alarm input individually.
Each alarm input can use a 1-wire or a 2-wire interface individually.
The ALMCLU board is managed via the CNCC4 board through the low speed Q1 bus using the clock
to shift out the alarms to the CNCC4.
Operational data
Alarm input device:
An opto-coupler is used on the ALMCLU to isolate the alarm inputs from the electronics on the board:
Internal resistance : 15 kΩ..
Activation current: 2 mA minimum.
Deactivation current: 0.7 mA maximum.
Allowable current: 50 mA maximum.
Power supply:
Nominal station battery voltage: -48 V or -60 V.
Operating voltage range: ranges from -36 V to -72 V.
Power consumption: 4.8 W (for nominal supply voltage -48 V).
Fuse: 1A / 250V (quick).
